  1. any one plase i wana ride this weekend .....i was over looking and saw this green wire with a yellow strip crimpped to a blck wire should this be like this
  2. hey guys i was told by my mechanic that my harmess and cdi was bad ,so i order a cdi and a harness now my bike wont start...this bike never had a key switch or a working kill switch ,on my old harness there was just two wires tied up (a red and a black) and to turn it off i would disconnect them. on my new harness there was a female tip blac/white wire coming out of my harness and it was connected to nothing(i left it alone) i bit further up in the harness theres a clip with two wires a blck/red and a black one i tied does together and bike still wont start i checked for spark and saw very little spark. when i kick it it sounds like its about to turn on but it doesnt what can this be the bike was running before but kinda slugish do to the harness being bad along with the old cdi being bad as well am going crazy!!!!

  6. hey guys i was tightning my pressure bolts CAREFULLY so i wont snap the bolts and guess what ,i snapped two of them meaning am only running 3 springs how bad is this untill i get the funds to buy a new inner clutch hub and new springs.......

I basically do the same type of riding u do. this list should help u out....dune/play port-$ 300.00 toomey t-5 pipes- $ depends jet the bike- $ depends uni pod filters- $25.00 shipped cut stock head .030- $ 30.00 advance timing +4 this should make u pretty happy...and would sure toast most bikes

  14. before u order that kit,clean your carb jets very well and make sure ure filter is clean this should help the problem i had something similar going on with my bike before

  16. I would do it in a heart beat then clean it up with some bling here and there, but yea dude a banshee is easy to make pretty..
  17. I even destroyed the one in the petcock the fuel i put in my bike is filterd trough my filling tank!!!! but yea you will be more than perfect with the stock one in the petcock.
  18. probobly not since the vf3's are equipd with carbon pedals ne way
  19. if you have another distributor swap them out last time that was the same thing my bike was doing and it was the lil box under the gas tank (not the tors but that thingy i like to call the CDI)

Hey guys i re-jetted the bike i put 280 mains and left the stock pilots now aim not sure on the air screw position i dont really understand whats a full turn and a half turn(but i belive it's right the way i adjusted it. ) .the problem am having is that the bike is turning off when i hit the gas in first gear it just bogs dead i can kinda ride it wehen i rev it really high and ride the cluth to get it not to bogg,but still will turn off as soon as i shift to second .can it be the air screw position if so can some one darw me a lil diagram on the air srew position like 1/4 1/2 and full thanks alot by the way the bike sounds way better and idles well
