no, kit not come with float needle, i didnt touch that, the only changes i made is: main jet, pilot jet, needle. this needle i mean: after i putted the carb caps on, the slides went down more than before... so i played with the tors big screws and it went up little bit

Hello there. I have a problem in my banshee carb, when i turn the gas tank key on, my carbs leaks fuel from the side and this is happening when my engine on and off, i never had problem before with fuel leaking from carbs .. i'm using the stock carbs and i didnt jetted the banshee before .. it was on 200 stock main and stock needle, what i did to the banshee is that i bought a jetting kit and installed 300 main jet and pilot and new jet needle... this is what i did to the carb, maybe the jet needle position? i set it same as the stock one at position 3, i changed the carbs gaskit and used the new ones from the jetting kit, right side is leaking more than left side and i'm not sure if the left side is leaking or not cause of the big leak from the right one... fuel is coming out like crazy!!

i forgot ... if its from the jetting then why its not back firing at the first 10 minutes of riding? banshee is back firing only when i pop the clutch not at normal riding ...

Hello guys ... when i go riding .. and right after doing some wheels ... after 3 or 4 long wheels ... my banshee back firing and sounds like losing power when poping the clutch to get the front end up... the weather temp is between 105-115F ... this is not the first time .. everytime i go riding after doing some wheels ... it back firing when im poping the clutch ... before 2 months i changed the crank seals .. and someone told me that one of my crank arm got heat on it by its colour ... but he said its ok .. so i didnt changed the arm ... so do you think the problem is my banshee is over heating cause of heated crankarm? or the weather? ... and thanks changed the spark plugs i got bills pipes and k&n pods ... 200 main didnt jetted the carb

Finaly!! found it... yes thats it, when i was removing the clutch basket bolt, the basket fall down and hit the ground so hard and it broke... so that part fell off of the old one that broken. i bought new clutch basket thats way i forgot it.. my ride was so good, banshee runs like a fire !! shifting so nice... everything looks nice til now... but i still feel like i missed this part !! WAITING FOR DAVE TO COME

i dont remember !! i teared the motor down, and rebuild it, i hope this is not a part of my banshee gears, i put everything back together and installed it on the frame, fired it up good, but didnt take it for a ride... im going to test riding it tomorrow...

thank you for the help ... i used new mixed oil/fuel and still have the same problem, is there a way to be sure its the crank seals before tearing it down? and do i need to change the motor gaskets ? or its ok to use the old one if its in good condition... and how much it will cost me.. im going to do it by myself...

So how could i change the seals ? tear the bike down and open the crank case? or from the clutch cover? do you have crank seals picture? and what do i need to change it...

Hello there... I have a stock yamaha banshee, i take it out today for little ride, choked and started good, i start riding everything is good, power is perfect, but when i hit the throttle it smokes white, the more i hit the more it smokes... i was riding about 5 minutes doing some wheelies ... etc then i lost power!! here's what i did: 1. removed old plugs and putted new NGK's 2. removed carbs and cleaned them 3. checked the compression very good BUT !! its still smokes white so much so much !! never seen this before even when it idling, only the right side is smoking... the fuel i am using is little old, i mixed it month ago... thanks
