  2. recessed into grab bar, SWEET looks great.
  3. i had the same problem once bfore also and i ended eplacing my head gasket but that wasnt the problem. My air screw on my carbeurator on the right was out of sync with the left. Check your carbs firs sounds to me like that cylinder isnt geting fire, fuel or air. Was the plug wet? What the plug look like?
  4. LOL yea the kid said it was to big to but hey it was free and fun to make
  5. this hand made kick sarter gave me one hell of a time took me about 5 hours to complete and after third try to get this thing to work properly it finally fit and worked the way i wanted it to.
  6. From Indy to Track 1hr 20min , Im about 15 min from track out in the sticks.
  7. im not for sure if you can get asphault tires for your stock rims. I know i had to buy some 10" rims for he hoosiers.
  8. www.cyclenews.com This site will give most atv/dirt bike events for any state. Looks like you guys in northern part of Indiana have alot more flat track going on than what we do in souhtern part. I have been thinking about getting in conact with the owner of Clark County Fairgrounds and see we could maybe put a race on. But dont know if i could get enoough people together to make it worth our time. If you guys think we could then spread word and reply back to this thread to set date and see if we get enough riders. And i will get in conact with the owner and see if it is possible. I do know that they race the go-karts on this track. 3 years ago we use to drag race atv's down the middle of this track so i do know that the straight aways are 200 feet or better.
  9. I'm glad that i'm no the only one that thinks like that way about dealers. Service manuals help out alot. Anoher thing i always thought working on a 2 stroke was easier than 4 stroke anyways since you dont have to fool with any cam chains or adjusing valves.
  10. First off i hope i got this in the right forum, so friday i was ridin the shee and noticed a strange noise, sopped to chck things out and noticed that the master link clip and other half was gone, no big deal just run down to the closest dealer and buy a new one. Arrived at the dealer (wiht chain in hand) went to parts desk and told them i needed a master link for the chain, so the guy takes the chain back to parts room and about ten minues later comes back out and says heres what you need. so i paid for he part headed back home, yes i did make one mistake, i didn double check to see if master link would fit, well i get home and go to install new link and the gosh dam hing doesnt fit, IMAGINE THAT, and doesnt help that about six months ago i blew the head gasket so i called the to order new one and same friggin dealer didnt know what i was talking about when i told them that i needed a head gaske for a banshee, they actually had the friggin nerve to tell me that i needed to adjust my valves or check my cam for wear, and that was actully one of there mechanics, so the way i see it guys if you own a 2-stroke or a shee dont call the dumb ass dealer, at least around my area, so i am glad that i know how to work on the banshee because will not be taking it to no dumbass dealer any time soon. friggin dumbass's
  11. alright, finally, found this www.lawrenceburgmotorcyclespeedway.com (DEARBORN CO. INDIANA at the fair grounds) Looks like these guys run every friday night. but the track looks like a built banshee would over power the place, probably be sideways around most of the track.
  12. DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ANY FLAT RACKS IN OR AROUND SOUTHERN INDIANA, AND HAS ANYBODY EVER RACE A LAWRENCEBURG INDIANA, HEARD THEY RACE ON THE BIKE FLAT TRACK UP THERE. JUST WONDERING BECAUSE I AM WANTING TO GET INTO IT NOW THAT I HAVE SET THE BANSHEE UP FOR IT.
