  1. from my house pulling a 38 foot toy hauler at 70 mph it takes me hour and 40 min full tank of disel round trip
  2. o yea the wife had a flat on the way up friday and the lug wrench didnt fit. told my son that those dyno numbers seem way low and he tells me that my bike would not pull 3rd up choke cherry, so out side to check it out and i got 140 psi in right and 30psi in the left side i should have 180 psi in both, my son seised it so they would of towed my last bike home as well. so i payed to dyno a half dead bike. so they all broke except the honda 250 ex. havent tore down the last bike yet but think i will just leave it for now.got my hands full and wallet empty with the other 3.
  3. 03 black with red wrighting noss head shear in frames 20/10/10 10 cup haulers 33 pwk's k&n pods.4 mill chariot reed cages with boysen 2 stage and dune to drag ported looks clean its only ben out 3-4 weekends a year i bought it new in 02 but from 05 to 07 it was not taken out at all so its has low hours on it. it still has the oem chain on it.
  4. could not belive how much $hit went wrong. wensday: we left and got there all was good. thursday: my dughters blaster broke down and was towed back. it was the reeds they were put on(just bought the bike first trip out) with no bar so the reeds were pulling through the screws so had the wife pull a stock banshee cage form the gerage to bring up when she came up later that night. then my 2 year old burns him self on the pipe of my banshee bad. friday: take my 2 year old to hosptial because his burn is 2nd degree, get back and my daughters blaster kick starter spring sliped out of its pocket so the kick starter wont stay up, fixed that. latter that night my sone and a friend go out at dusk and she comes back and says he is broke down so we head out and she cant rember were they were so its all most fully dark and we see him standing on top of a dune waving us down, close one any darker would of ben a long knight in pitch black darkness. tow it back. it was just a wire shorted on the pipe no biggie. saterday :take son to hospital for more work on his burn. come back every one has left to go see the ice caves so i guess i go dyno my bike by my self that went well. get back from hansen per. the wife goes for a ride with friends and 20 min latter some one telling me that she is broke down (i say to my self are you fn kidding me) so i go to see whats up and she says i shut it off because its making a bad sound, i started and yep sounds bad. (i now know that the fly wheel got a crack and came loose and ate the crank and it self) as i start to hook the tow rope up my son pulls up and he has steam coming out of his right pipe.(nut came loose blew the head gasket)so one blaset and one banshee are out. sunday: no hospital trip 2day. everyone is going on group ride so i tell my son he can take my shee and go then my daughter says i want to go. 20 min latter she comes back on a tow rope her blaster motor is squeeling bad. its done all thats left now is my shee and the 250ex honda that wont go no where. monday: back to hospital for the last time(i hope) another full group ride they ask me to come because they know i have not rode the hole time and i said nope your not towing my last bike home, they said might as well break the last one as well, i said nope. get loaded up get home all good then the gear broke on the left jack on the toy hauler and cant get it setup, and as i m working on that the one bike i never thought about, broke down. my 2year olds power wheel raptor foot switch went out. you know its bad when even the power wheel breaks down. i told the wife if i ever have another weekend like this we are selling everything and giving this $hit up.
  5. good to here it, i didnt ride to busy working on all the other bikes that broke my son blew a head gasket so i let him ride mine. shure some of you guys seen him. even when i do go out i let him race my bike because i clock in at 195 lbs and he is only 170 lbs. he raced more 450's then any thing. i looked for duneman on sunday but did not find him.
  6. i run 20/10/10 10 cup haulers on my 4 mill and one time i got on my sons 4 mill with skateII (v typ) and nearly laid it over when i did a u turn to come back down the dune. haulers are the only way to go IMO. just rember to let off when it comes time to turn untill you get the hang of them.
  7. a saw it on 4 forums its shoud be a big turn out i hope some of us with the faster bikes make it. its going to take more then just my 4 mill to show those craptors that banshee is still king of the dunes
  8. we shal also be there on memorial day weekend, the wife went to a 450 site, i think she said honda 450 site and a bunch of them said they were going so it should be a busy weekend.
  9. dont know who ported them. but you can tell they have ben resleeved after the porting was done or maybe the sleeve was removed then ported then new sleeve put in. how can i tell? you can see the lip/edge of the sleece when u look into the ports
  10. 4mill suck with out proting a well ported stock stroke is faster then a unported 4 mill, in fact i just did a port job on a 4 mill because he put in a 4 mill and the powerband was so short, i might even say the quad was slower then b 4 the 4 mill, did the port job and wow what a diff. like night and day.
  11. one more thing if you ride both winter and sumer u need to rejet for the winter even if they are a tad fat in the summer its easy to burn them up when its cold out, or if you take the bike down to sea level.
  12. i ran 270 in my 04 with toomys at 5000ft and that was just a tad fat on warmer days 85ish as it sould be. if its cooler then you normaly ride get it dead on, if its warmer you want to be a tad fat then recheck the plugs when its cooler.
  13. wow 420 thats crazy. any how 5psi diff form 1 day to the next is not a big deal. if it is cooler 1 day hotter then next its easy to see 5 psi diff. what about the niddle jet is the clip on the middle grove. did you check your intake boots 4 leakes like the nipples were the cross over tube is. let me know i m shure its somthing simple

  15. some times you need to trench the case for a 4 mill, seems to be more with the early years.
  16. because of pepole that just talk crap. is why i dont give out some things i know to everyone. some dont deserve to know. i will say this i will tell him what i know and he can call some builders and find out if what i say is right or wrong. but i m helping him r you.

  18. im replying becaus not many have and with your set up it is about as low as you want any more and you give up way to much hp sorry to say but the best way to get more lowend from what you got is a 450r. more rpm = more power thats why the new yamaha has 5 valves. look how much more power a 600 street bike has then a 660 raptor how many rpm's do they turn.
  19. i have ben porting like 10 years now however i will not claim to be a pro and i m shure there is some out there that claim they are and cant do as good a job as i can. numbers wont help you much. knowing other things will such as a 4 mill will have less rpm with the same port. longer stroke = les rpm no matter what your building. racing on the flat only is way diff. then racing up hills. i built a shee that would rev so high even i couldent belive it. on the flat is was real fast,i m doing a set right now because after he put a 4 mill in his bike the powerband became real short not just low. a bike with stock stroke that is ported right will beat a 4 mill without porting, and on flat only, stock jug 4 mill has no chance with a flat drag port with stock stroke. up a steep hill in the sand, fair match. want o know more IM me, some things i dont care to share in open forum dont mind a few people know some of my tricks but not everyone.
  20. dont put paddles on little kids 4wheelers they will just get stuck more, stock tires with little air/all most flat works best.even on my daughters 250ex i dont have paddles she is not a fast rider. i can take both my 250's one with paddles one with out side by side facing up a hill from a dead stop the one with out paddles will go right up, the one with paddles digs in and gets stuck. try it
  21. i must agree the sand and the power your bike makes and rider size i have 21 10cups and in dumount they were a bit much on a stock bike with t5 but here in st anthony id the sand is softer and their great. when i shoot up a hill i can not turn unless i let off, backwards from a seadoo
  22. well were are talking about 1 more trip before the season ends looks like it will be some time late oct. i will post when we have a forshure date. would enjoy to meet some new pepole that are somewhat local.
  23. funny southern season starts when our northen ends. dont think i will ever go to glammis agen to far now to much fuel to go to smaller dunes then the ones that are just 2 hours frome me but crazy partys at clammis.

    ben to glamis and dumount many of times and i must say the dunes at st anthony ID are way bigger but not a party place like glamis. in fact i would go as far as saying you dont know what big dunes are untill u ben to st anthony. i will see if i can find a pic
