It's time for a rebuild partner! I'm not sure why your mechanic richened the left side to compensate for the right. An air leak on the right crank seal or intake could be the cause of the problem and yes this would effect the firing on that cylinder. If you can't fix it yourself , use a site sponser or someone you trust to do the work.

You need to run this thing WOT in 5th or 6th, kill it, pull in the clutch coast to a stop and pull out the plugs and check the color. Black is rich, tan is good, white is lean.

Don't go putting a timing plate on until you figure out the problem. Fix the problem than do the timing. If its always had this stock timing plate in it leave it for now. Too me it shows like its fat on top since you are still running stock pipes. I could be wrong but find the problem before adding any more performance parts to it.

Have you pulled the plugs to see what color they are? I was running FMF fattys, K&N, no lid, vf2, noss head, stock carbs at the same elevation with 280s, and 27.5s with tan plugs.

You need to install a pink powerband. The color is out of wack!

Yeah it was about 8 months ago. Its was a total engine rebuild, fresh Wiseco, Hotrod crank, crank bearings, seals, may have had 25 or so hours on it. All the time was put on it by my girl friend so it was never ridden hard. I think it had dual stage boyseen reeds in it too. Good luck on the sale!
