Not everyone is a drag racer ! I have been riding for 30 yrs , my buddy has been riding street bikes for 20 yrs . his 1st quad is 05 yfz450 rider @ 230 lbs , me @ 300 lbs . and yes , Easily , if you know how to ride ! the new 450 don't impress me at all , no torque , rev to the moon , they should have just made em 2 strokes . this is my experience , my machine is dialed in really well . strong torquey powerband , has an electric kind of feel to it . like I stated before , great woods combo , very easy to control .

I like mine for the woods and setup is : stock engine/ports , stock head milled .027 " +4 deg w / adjustable timing plate , dynoport 2 into 1 pipe , stock carbs , stock gearing . runs very good down low, has real good CONTROLLABLE power in the mid and revs out good . I can easily beat a stock 450 in drags . you dont need max power for the woods , and if you want to go to the dunes just change the pipes and jets , easy as that !

If this stuff is such a good deal why wouldn't Utley just send the guy his money back and sell the parts to someone else after the proper disclosure of damages and make more money than this deal did for him ? 1 reason not to refund money = the parts are JUNK . the picture clearly shows tha supposed "scratch " = BS that's a big CHUNK ! pics or not , thats a lie ! pitts on the cyl , and piston water ???? looks like pits in the aluminum to me from the pics ! another lie ! I don't know either of these guys at all , but I have read the posts , and would say the whole deal is not honest and the proper disclosure was NOT given by Utley ! Utley , just give the guy his money back , seperate the parts , give the proper disclosure and sell all of it on e-bay and make over 1k for it . whats the problem ???

ya , i forgot to mention that its only the 01 raptor shock that fits !

yes , it is a little snug to fit , because of the length . but when done it works great on a stock swingarm . caution : be careful of having too much chain slack ! a spring loaded chain tensioner may be in order . mine yielded about 11.5 in of travel . instalation tip : loosen the compression of the preload spring to make intalation easier !

Yes . you will need longer tie rods too . the 450 stockers are too short .

the banshee spindles will make the 450 a arm swap bind . the 450 spindles will let you achieve 11.5 in of travel . BUT you will need to get a shock at least 17.5 in long to make it work . try an arctic cat firecat /sabercat shock , or sno pro shocks . double check on the lengths tho !

I chose chart 1 as the dynoport + single carb because it appears to be a strong midrange torque with good overrev on the top end .................... I chose chart 2 as the procircuit with dual carbs cuz it appears to have strong low end power from the pipes , but the top end looks like it pulls very hard ( possibly from the extra flow of dual carbs ) and chart 3 I picked the procircuit w/ single carb again low end power appears to be strong , but the ramping up of the hp looks slow (like its corked up )
