  1. what are the performance gains from either a big bore (68+mm) vs. 4-7 mm stroke crank vs. stock crank long rod setup . note all the above would be with stock cylinders , and stock port timing . what would be the best way to go with a stock motor to achieve the most torque with 100% stock cylinders ?
  2. I found out the hard way that there are 2 versions of this filter adapter , I bought the larger one that accepts the k&n filters by mistake , so It is up for sale . brand new just mounted in the airbox and taken right back out . 30 bucks shipped to usa .
  3. I have a set of brand new +3 +1 american star a arms with ball joints , not hiems for the rim end . they have hiems for the upper frame to get the full camber-caster adjustments and they are blue . very nice a arms , but I need a long travel set for my new shocks . so these got to go . they have just been bolted to the frame , and spindles , never been out of the garage . 370 shipped to usa 48 connected states mine are exactly like these , but in blue http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ASR-Banshee-3-up-1-MX-PRO-Racing-A-Arms-BLACK-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3f070f01eeQQitemZ270701363694QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  4. after i looked closer at mine tonite , there is a small crack around the hub . so I am out .
  5. wow that thing is clean , the 1st pic you couldn't make out the threads .lol how much less is this then a stock flywheel ?
  6. how much was it lightened ? is it just the extra holes that lightened it up ? does it have puller threads still ? the pics make it look like the puller threads are gone ?
  7. OK , I got the eek needle in it , and had to go to a 55 pilot . a/s still @ .5 out , but it runs real good . how does the idle adjuster on a 34 pj work ? what is it metering ? I have to have my choke knob/idle adjuster almost all the way up to get it to run good . when its off choke it runs real good , when I pull up on the choke it dies instantly , so I would figure I am not lean especially considering the way it revs up and comes back to idle instantly , but snop is right , the eek needle makes it run much better !
  8. OK , I got a eek and an eej on the way . thanks for the help .
  9. so you tink if I put in the eek needle the pilot would come way down ?
  10. no lul in power , performs just like the single pipe stock carb setup I had last yr . I was just questioning the BIG pilot . right now I am at a 60 pilot , and it revs up real crisp and comes right back to idle . does not hang up at all and idles great with a/s @ 1 turn out . I was wondering though if I switch to the eek needle will it effect the pilot circuit any so I can run a smaller pilot . there are no air leaks , already tested for that + it ran great with the stock carbs + stock pipes . just seems the pilot I have to run to make it idle properly is alot bigger then anyone elses setup. I had a 45 in it and it would not idle at all , I have had every step up from that intil I started to see the a/s making a difference when the 55 -58 pilots were in it . then it would idle with the a/s all the way in . It took the 60 pilot before I could take the a/s out 1 turn and still idle good . any thoughts as to why ? are the pj 34's that much different then the pwk 35's ?
  11. 100% stock motor , dynoport 2 into 1 pipe , and 2 into 1 carb with 34 pj , pod filter . roughly 1000ft. elevation . thanks for the help !
  12. will the needle effect the pilot circuit ? I cant get it to sustain an idle with the 55 pilot the a/s is all the way in . I was gonna get a 58 tomorrow . this is a stock motor . I believe the needle is a dek or deg 4th from the top . the mid range and top end pull real good . 190 main is where I am at also with an open pod filter right now
  13. what jetting are you at and whats your setup ( pipes , and airbox ) ? I am just curious as I am at a 55 pilot and still going up . I have a pj34 and 2 into 1 pipe and 2 into 1 exhaust . thanks
  14. is there a ground strap going to the coil mounting bolt ?
  15. history : the bike ran fine until I messed with the wiring harness and cut out all the tors crap to clean it up , and I taped up all the exposed ground connections real good . now for the question of the day ............ does the coil have 2 or 3 wires going to it ? I know of the orange and black spade style connectors , but is there a ground on the coil mounting bolt too ? I have the handle bar switch disconnected , the key switch is off the bike , and I even tried to hook up the cdi direct to the wires from the stator eliminating the harness mid section . any ideas ?
  16. want to sell the carbs and intakes seperate ? I only need carbs .
  17. ft of silencer inlet pipe to rear mount eye = 25.5 in.
