  2. thats what I was afraid of . I was just wondering if there was a swingarm swap possible to achieve longer travel .
  3. how do you get more travel from the rear end on a banshee ? special swingarms, no link setup , any ideas that would work for a budget minded individual ? bike is used for woods riding .
  4. Nobody wants a mint trailer that hauls 2 extended quads and tons of gear ? 2700 cash !
  5. 05 banshee low hrs , dynoport 2 into 1 pipe , and +4 timing with chariot plate , 5.6 gal IMS tank , other than that its all stock . Low hrs on bike , was owned by a friends wife and rode very little sat in a barn for 2 yrs , and I got it . trail and woods ridden , exellent condition . in SE wisconsin . 3000.00 http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08272.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08271.jpg
  6. 2007 6x14 + the v nose , 7 ft interior height , rear ramp door , side rv style door , 120v electric, 120 v lights , racks and acessories, shelf across the v part .Low miles on this trailer comes with spare . pulls real good behind 1/2 truck ! QUADS AND GEAR NOT INCLUDED ! 3000.00 in SE wisconsin http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08299.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08300.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08301.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08304.jpg http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb46/be...winter08302.jpg
  7. Great guy to deal with . Thanks for the shock !
  8. well Snoop , maybe there was something wrong with yours , because mine spools up real quick and is great for the woods . I have ridden the t5 , fmf, and dynoport twins and they all SUCKED in the woods . did you run the twin carbs or the single with your 2 into 1 ? the most hp will not always win in a woods race ! we aren't drag racing , tight technical woods riding . I recommend it for woods riding , and thats what the guy was asking about trails and woods . I don't remember seeing anything about drag racing ? If there was than I missed that part . SNOX , I only live 30 min. from you , if you want to try out a dynoport 2 into 1 LMK . You can see for yourself .
  9. well , if you liked it for motocross then it would be even better in the woods ! twin pipes have too peaky of a powerband in the woods , the mellower smoother 2 into 1 is better suited for the woods . 2 into 1 makes it feel like a piped /ported 250r with good torque and quick revs
  10. I agree I love the dynoport 2 into 1 ! awesome trail pipe , power is always there pipe revs up extremely fast , and more torque than a modded 250r ! all this on a stock 05 with timing@+4 , and carbon tech low tension reeds . I have raced t 5's and can SPANK them out of the hole !NOW they will catch me on the big end of a drag race , but for all the talk of how much power the fmf, t5, and others supposedly have I was definatly NOT IMPRESSED ! and I weighed 150 lbs more then the t5 bike ! I would highly recommend the dynoport 2 into 1 pipe , it has much more low and midrange power than stock , it revs up extremely fast , and has lots of torque compared to stock . GREAT WOODS PIPE ! as others on here have said , " I will worry about what a dyno sheet says when it passes me " what works good on paper might not be the best for reality !
  11. OK , check this out .......... I just did an lt 8o fresh top end and the piston I got from Wiseco was marked .5mm oversize , the box said .5mm , but in reality the piston was std bore ! the rings were correct , wiseco put a std bore piston in the wrong bin and etched it as a .5 over and put it in a .5 over box . what this did was allow the rings to walk around the piston with no locating dowels for the end gap cuz the rings were too big for the piston diameter the gap would not get small enough to contact the dowel on the piston ! I would check the piston closely and measure it to the bore to see if your @ .004-.006 clearence . how far out of round is the bore arount the exhaust port ?
  12. STOP >>>>>>> and think about what you just said . It was rich as hell after you fixed the air leak ! Now with all your jetting experience you should be able to get it right on the money ! why are you so eager to give up ? jetting is fairly easy once you get into the ballpark .
  13. ya , I hear ya on the noise thing . I have a sparky sparkarrestor on it now , I will see if that quiets it down some . set the timing @ +4 and then ride it ! big differencs in throttle response . mine will rev from idle to high rpm and back down to idle instantly with no bogs or hanging up . my next step is more compression and possible woods/mx port .
  14. how much for the stainless braided lines ? still have the head ?
  15. I would have to see a real good closeup of the plugs . How did you like the power ? I am at stock pilot, stock main , clip 1 step leaner . on an all stock 05 with +4 timing . running the stock airbox . I am still a tad rich , but sometimes where I go is pretty remote , and the gas is lower quality so I will leave it alone for now and be safe . The + 4 timing plate made a BIG difference , idled much better , and reved much faster/cleaner !
  16. thats how mine looked too ! what other mods done to yer bike ?
  17. I just used a little grease on the o ring and it slid right on . again , they don't look like they're all the way on at first , but after you ride it for a few miniutes they will slide on a little . mine is now rock solid and won't move at all . Great pipe for the woods !
  18. call eibach direct , they are very helpful . I'm 300lbs and he recommended the 8.9 for me
  19. most states that have an atv registration program will also have an "out of state trail pass " for riders from out of state who visit to ride the trail system . I live in WI , but will not register it either . just another way for "the Man " to keep tabs on me . I just buy new out of state trail passes . If you do get pulled over for a sticker check the trail pass is just as good as a registration sticker . BUT where it may get complicated is when they ask to see your drivers liscense , last time I just said that the quad belonged to my dad and I was jusst using it for the weekend ! worked like a champ !
  20. Trinity offers an adapter to use the single carb with the stock airbox . I think they quoted me 54 bucks .
