  1. That could have been caused by a stiff bearing or you put it together wrong the first time. I would run it though. it might dent a little furth but as long as the outter bearing race stays put your good to go. So I agree with the guy above me. As far as the first three guys, they were looking in the wrong place and the fourth guy looked wrong and confirmed he is an asshole. Pistons look like you do a lot of trail riding, bottom to mid. They look fine though. Why did you tear it down?

  3. I am assuming you ride in utah being from wyoming? If so I run a 290-310 with those carbs. More air moveing across the needle jet means it will pull more fuel with it. Stock carbs I ran 350's or bigger.
  4. Few more odds and ends. It all ready has a cool head. I am now in the bike 2900 with all new components. Can't wait until its done! Don't buy new! let another guy take the hit!

  9. wow 210 pounds is ALOT. They rip on the bottom with that much compression but never rev out to to top. Your going to need to run 110 leaded to stop deto. get down to 150 pounds of compression and run 2 gallons of 110 leaded with 3 gallons of 85 octane pump gas. The higher the octane the cooler the fuel, which is a power loss. You need to find a common ground. Which is why i run the lead, Now you got HOT fuel with an anti-deto.
  10. yeah that or.... I had a bike that ran like that and the problem ended up being transfer height too tall. Who ported it? WHats your elevation? 19's are considered little here.
  11. I would run a 14 for sure. 15 is too much, 13 is too little. Sounds like a hot bike but let her wind up!
  12. I have switched from T5's to CPI's on two different bikes. You should be able to run a size or 2 size bigger on the main jet. However you need to lean the bottom and mids out with the needles. Drop those baby's all the way down and let us know how it works! Whats your oil mixture?
  13. V-Force definitely cleans up the mid range. So do them. However reed spacers main purpose is to "smooth" out the air flow by pulling the reeds farther from the intake port. I never really bot into this because the air incoming to a 2 stroke is very turbulent and gets worse from there. I do run reed spacers though because they help lift the carb higher from the clutch perch. Bigger carbs rub on the clutch perch.
  14. Put your needles all the way down and see if that takes out the bog, I know it seems like its the main jet but it definitely sounds like the needle to me. If the bog gets worse then raise them all the way up. Seems like your midrange "blip" changed when you advanced the timing 5 degrees.
