  3. thats a great point 19cc at 3000 feet could need race gas. Back the timing back to zero and see if it clears up the pop.
  4. if you didn't then put new plugs in it. The reeds were fine right?
  5. the whole motor was built in september of 07, its all three trips. Very fresh.

  7. My uncle used to reverse RD400 cylinders and then of course there is the rotax mated to banshee trannies. They are easy to work on and have very clean lines but they have a fatal flaw. For proper tuned length of the pipe the fattest portion of the pipe is usually directly above the Brake rotor and sprocket. Anykind of major whoops or minor jump smashes the pipes against them. My uncle tried everything including running twin marvin shaws jacked to the moon. K&T had the same problem.
  8. they build a twin cylinder, Plus I run PVL, which fires like a single. Also you could always divide the number by 2
  9. They build very inexpensive digital tacks witch clamp on your spark plug wire and detect the pulse. I have run a few, I think RMATV has them or any dealer that carries parts unlimited can order them. here is a link
  10. I wouldn't even run a 13, they cause the chain to bound up. IMO thats why so many people break chains and destroy their cases.
  11. A quick easy fix we used to do is find a set of banshee stock shocks 91 or newer. They do not use the taper spring, much better ride, lot less stiff and you can pick up a set for less than fifty bucks on ebay.
  12. sold, but do I get more picture space if I upgrade my account???
  13. Price might help, 200 Shipped. LOL
  14. Tires 20x10x8 10 paddler haulers. Hardly used.
  15. Toomey T5's $350 Shipped, these pipes are barely used. I went to OOF pipes.
  16. I built a duner for a buddy in 2004. He has a lightened stock frame poweder coated. Stock a-arms chrome. +4 LSR swingarm. JJ&A aluminum hillshooter Axle. The motor was completely stock as far as port timing so I added a +4 stroker with 115 rods and 795 pistons. A spacer plate brought the port timing into 196 degrees which in my mind is perfect for duner type bikes. I cleaned up the exhaust knifed the transfers and matched the cases. CPI pipes, 34mm mikuni's with powerjets. This bike has not had the head off it since 2004. Probably one of the cleanest and most reliable duners out there. Far too often do I see people build duners thinking shitty pipes or lower port timing makes it more reliable. Port timing should always be matched with what the pipe is designed to do.
  17. I bought it like that. Remember I am local to K&T and lots of people do that.
  18. Banshee engine on ebay
  19. whats your local? How much for the fenders? What color is the tank and radiator shroud?
  20. I just finished putting together my new 4mm cub so I am going to st anthony idaho for three days. God I hope I didn't forget anything!
  21. pro design stamps the dome size into the side of the dome. Does it kick harder than your other two bikes? Turn the timing down and see if it helps the heat problem. Might sound dumb but hot after one minute? Did you check the coolant? Also maybe the water pump impeller is stripped or broken. White plugs also means lean, whats your elevation? 260 is tiny
  22. I used to know a lot of guys here in utah running stock carbs on really hot motors. The thought was more airspeed coming through the smaller diameter. I never realy bolted on a set of carbs on any of my bikes anyway and said WOW, but who knows. I run only 34mm Mikuni TM's now a days.
