  1. Ive been searching on the net, and its seems that to get a good mix you need to run synthetic oil.
  2. Yeah its 105. When its ran in your car its produces more horsepower, you get less MPG but its cheaper at the pump.
  3. Does anyone use E85 as race fuel? Thought about trying this in my hillclimber but didnt know what the difference was from regular race fuel compared to E85. E85 is 105 octane so what would be the difference, maybe jetting?
  4. Hello just want everyone to know that my brother and I own Powersport Coatings and we can do anything motocycle or ATV. We also can do ceramic coatings for headers and pipes.
  5. I call BULLSHIT
  6. What does it need in the back, because with my 18" tires I run a 15X39. 12X40 is what my motor will pull out of the hole with 20".
  7. If you ride alot of hills, I would just wack a couple inches off and call it good. I Hillclimb in IN/IL and a +4" swingarm seems to do me just right.
  8. This is a great guide for any question about the tuning of a carb. Thanks
  9. Just wondering what kind of carb setup some of you have. I need to tune mine in just a little. I have a 68.5 vitos block, cpi pipes, 4mm crank and 35mm airstrikers. What what jetts do ya Run? I also am running 20" kenda's and have to run my gearing 12X40, does anyone run a similar gearing?
  10. Let us know how it turns out when you get it back going.
  11. Anyone out there run the vitos monoblock, and if you do what do you think about it?
  12. Did you remember to put the ball bearing back in the middle of the clutch? It sometime falls out when you disassemble the clutch. Hope that helps
  13. I would put the slides back in the right spot check the plugs and you might have cracked or broke some reeds in the intake.
  14. Just wondering if anyone runs the nology coil and wires?
  15. The guy who won in 06 was Frank Wilson JR. His quad doesnt look like much but, that thing pulls like a dam mule. I've seen him win two nationals out in WV. Are you going to make to waterford ohio this year?
  16. I agree the motor would not blow up just because it ran out of gas, there has to be something else going on.
  17. YFZ450 or a badass quadzilla
  18. You might also want to try and running it at a 40:1 ratio, if you have any mods done to it or higher octane fuel.
  19. No I did'nt make up there. You? Your probly right about the 18's but I have always had good luck with the 18" shredders on the Dist. 15 hills. The biggest hill we have is at Nashville and that sits around 550ft, all other hills are below 210. Last year I bought some 20" Kenda radials that got a pretty meaty bite to them. They did awsome on the rocky loomy dirt at Nashville.
  20. Hello, I've been running hillclimbs in Dist. 15 which is Indiana since 98. I am a 3 time Indiana State 2 Stroke Atv Champ and have done decent at the nationals. I agree with locogato there are alot of fast guys on the east coast, Mass, WV, Conn. Alot of the guys out there run hopped up quadzillas. You will also see CR500 motors stuffed inside 250R and 400EX frames. If the hill is not very big, say under 250ft you would want to run 18" tires and a hill above 250 you should run 20". A good site to visit is www.kingofthehill.org. This site has alot of good info on it. Got any questions let me know.
