  1. historic/vintage/classic automotive mechanic, specializing in Jaguar's. lots of you guys have some kick arse jobs hey.
  2. haha ^
  3. ive heard that the kfx 450/400 are exactly the same as the ltr 400/450 (kwaka sold them to suzi). my piped shee with plus 4 timing, can beat ltr450 and ive beaten a differant piped ltr450 in the dunes and he had paddles and i had razrs. a 700 rapta with pipe said that when we were playing he couldnt catch me, so i got him a powercommander 3 and we will see next time, he will win when he gets it tuned with pc3
  4. when my engine gets a bit tired im gonna work it (port, carbs, 4mm and cool head) and i do ride some tight trails (reason for not getting a real high end pipe e.g CPI) so is the PT highrev going to be better with the mods or to close to call against the t5's.
  5. stabilizer heeeeeeyy ill look into that, im not really a fan of additives tho but its an option. we dont have ethenol in our gas here, well not in our side of AU. yeh blaster2006 its a loose conversion. SpecialEd 05 you got me thinking about the 2 stroke oil being hydroscopic and im using ester oil and thats worse for absorbing water. iv never had gas longer than 4-5 weeks anyway so im safe. thanx.
  6. are the pt hi rev a better of a top end pipe than the t5?
  7. ah ok cool and you guys are running more comp than me aswell so im safe as. thanx fellaz.
  8. hey i was just wondering how long you guys leave your gas in a metal jerry-can untill you call it unfit for your banshee ?, after about 3 weeks i get a bit worried about octane loss, but ive heard gas is of better quality in the US anyway so maybe its not a good comparison. i use 98pump which is about the same as your pump93
  9. ride the bush trails when its wet and ride the dunes when its dry im running razr2's and they seem pretty good on the gravel but when its as dry as it is i dont think tyres can help ya.
  10. $600au for that rear window, i dont think there will be a 2nd time haha. im gonna have to Macgyver something.
  11. thats what a mate said, the wheels hitting the bar sent vibrations through and broke the glass but the tray is bolted to the chassis not the cab and its about 1 1/2" away from the cab and the bumber is about 4" away from the glass. i wish i could pik it up but its just way to high, i could maybe do the front but not the rear and i dont wanna be that guy that needs help every time i load the ute up, haha if i break the next window then ill have to do something about it ill just call this time unlucky . haha drag banshee, but i thought shee loved it
  12. nah thats another aussie i wish it was his pickup haha then i wouldnt need a new window, he would:) i have a 2005 mitsubishi triton 4wd so the ramps are on a big angle, and the window would be more expensive than the ford one .
  13. so all was well, we went to the dunes and had a good ride tho it was time to leave so everyone put the bikes on there pickups (we call them ute's (short for utility) but for some reason myne wouldnt ride up the ramps well and it usualy does so i took a little run up. As i went up the ramp i touched the brake to slow but it slowed to much so i poped the clutch just to nudge me a bit further, when then the nudge turned into a push and BANG! i went through the fucking window FUCK! i yelled at the banshee haha cuase its the banshees fault of course. but what is weird is that my wheels hit the tray before my bumper can hit the window so im stumped on how it broke but it fucking did and now need a new window haha what a cunt.
  14. i dont have many photos.
  15. ah yeh we turn down metro rd, awesome trail riding through there. with the mundaring spots we just park up and go riding becuase there heaps of trails (i use google earth haha) that lead everywhere you can ride to bartons mill from mundaring but if you get caught well just dont get caught haha, tho we havent been riding in mundaring for ages so we just dune/ metro rd it.
  16. sup fellaz, from kalamunda way, ill never go to 4stroke , i ride in the bush mundaring, pickeringbrook and Beverley and all the coast/dunes wedge, lancelin, pipidinni and a few others i cant remember the names. Ive seen heaps of banshees even a few lt500's mainly in the beach dune areas.
  17. i have protaper contour atv mid bend, i like em.
  18. thats not a real banshee.
  19. but 4 poke weedwackers are so boring to use, if you have a 2stroke its so much more fun haha ZING ZING ZIIIIIIIIIIIIING 2 stroke for life hey  i wonder if toomey do a pipe for my weedwacker (which they call a whiper snipper here)
  20. haha i think it sux , its a banshee it has to be 2stroke.
  21. so can you replace them when they wear out ?
  22. i can get about 4 hours of hard riding with basic bolt on's.
  23. take it to dealer. 3 months parts warranty i think.
  24. banshee's are dated but so are old chev engines but they still make awesome power. what mods do your 4poke mates have?
  25. if you buy a new shee then in 1.5 /2 years sell it, provided its still in great condition you shouldnt loose much money on it. You could buy a 2nd hand one too and have no probs with it and sell it for the same amount you paid for it but it could go the other way aswell and blow up. I bought a new one for this reason i didnt want anyone else's stuff up's or thrashed out machines which face it 2-strokes you have/want to thrash.
