  1. Full exhaust boost contoller better intercooler bigger turbo (bolt on STi turbo) aftermarket ecu fuel pump and injectors (depending on what boost your going to run, stock motors dont really like going over 16psi)
  2. i opted for the chariot becuase it came with the chrome nuts and brass washers. If i get another banshee ill try a noss, ive only ever heard great things about both. Noss and chariot are easy as to deal with and shipping was fast.
  3. if your shocks are at there hardest setting it will be prone to skip and understeer, back them off to half way then go from there.
  4. on rocky trails i run 8 front 6 rear on razr2's.
  5. powerwheels for show yo with 18v conversion youll be ripping. id get another shee, then you have parts galore with the parts you dont use from ya other one. Three wheelers suck arse i rekon, the zilla could be fun i meen what 500 2 stroke isnt. if you dont know roll some dice ? no point asking what other people would wont.

  8. going back this weekend, ill take the h/cam. its not the best place but a great place coz its 3 min from home. ill have to strap my knee up, its a bit loose and moves the wrong way haha.
  9. awesome day, we were riding trails all day and i was gunning down this twisty bit full lean into this corner and i must of went a bit too sideways and clipped my rear out side wheel and POW high sided me haha and i was fuking hanging on thinking "just jump off man" just as i though that i broke a clip on my heel gaurd (all my weight was on it) and down i went under the quad tehe the fucker ran me over so i did a lil rolly polly whist the quad goes over me, looked up after i tumbled and i just see the bike putting down the trail into a bush and it stalled. atleast the quad is unmarked im pretty sore now haha, i k.o'd my right upper leg on my left nerf bar, it would have looked so funny.

  12. 137/138 cold and 141/142 hot front end is a bit lighter now :evil:. might stick it on the dyno and check the plugs on a full pull. letting it cool down now and ill re tention tomorrow, they must use alot of coolant becuase when i topped it up with water its still green as fuck. I got coolant anyway so i may aswell flush.
  13. bores are fine, still some good cross hatching going on, lil glazed but still good and tight piston to bore clearance. flash always makes it look more glazed than what it is. the heads on and im ready to go for a burn tommo. yep, keep kicking till the guage stops. My quads a few psi down from a real low hour 08 shee so im still within spec, just my guage reads low. thanx.
  14. thanx peoples, i know there are horror man made errors but most of us try to keep our stuff in good order and build motors clean and well. but some who have built/freshened up a few motors over the years may have a rule of thumb, as dallasgdub and 105psi. i should have added % loss of compression on the poll. thats what i thought Snopczynski, tho time does take its toll generally a long time.

  16. i didnt know 2-strokes needed a freshen up as often as they do and ive had alot of differant answers to this question, so i thought a poll would be easy to see what the average life of yee ol ring was, of course to the extreme drag/race motors it would be alot more frequent but it would be great if you guys would chime in aswell. Thanx.
  17. yeh i made a few phone calls to some yami dealers and one said 30hrs and the other said every three races you do the rings and every 5 you do the pistons. haha thats funny i reckon, banshee's are made of glass i still love em but. cousin wasnt home last night so tonight ill check his, if my jugs are off i may aswell do this and do that so hopefully his is the same, if its only gonna last a few hours on top ends it may aswell rip for those hours.
  18. im only too kind to my bike when looking after it, yes i give it hell but i make shaw its warm before i ride it, filter is always clean, jetting is as toomey recommended and i use motul 800 @ 40:1. tonight ill test another lower hour 08 shee to see if it has the same results (im thinking it will), the comp guage adapter will come into play as daj said. IM SAFE DAM IT haha, i wanted atleast 100 odd hours out of this thing. yeh snop with a warm motor and same length adapter (as the plug) id see alot better results. thanx for your input guys.
  19. ah yeh, good point daj. the fitting on the tester is less than half of the plug thread (thats close to a cc) so a substancial amount of compression differance. ill check the other 08 to make me feel better, either way im close in time anyway. the cool head can wait then till i do the top end. 50 hours haha geez.
  20. about 150 feet above sea level, perhaps the guage is reading low ill check my cousins 08banshee which he hardly rides (20 hours max) if its the same its the guage if not *FUCK*. yeh isaac i never tested it when it was new so i dont know what i started with, i just hope its the guage, my cuz's bike will tell all. its performing as good as it ever has and i still beat and keep up to everything i used to.
  21. i thought i would be around 120 aswell but im not haha 102/103 is pretty close so nothing is wrong thats just what it is and for a stock bike it goes pretty good. if it was hot i would get around 120, do you's check yours hot or cold ? i could try differant gauges till i get 120 tho 45 hours and need a top end fuck that, the bike still goes good. Ill check my cousins 08 that has like 20 hours on it for comparison with the same guage.
  22. clean filter, both plugs out, WOT, 45m ASL and kicked as hard as i can with standard head/port i scored 103 and 102 (on cold engine with a new snap on guage) reason for checking was, im about to install 20 cc domes and wanted to know the compression differance. once its hot it will gain a bit of compression so it may be close to the noss compression chart, so with the 20cc domes i should see around 140-150 psi. so tomoz im gonna stick the new head and domes in check the comp and start roosten !! atleast whiles its apart i can see how much film the avgas has left. im pretty excited i love mods.
