  6. I traded that quadzilla with a old Honda CB360 motor in it for it. It needed a bunch of work, the frame had some pretty questionable welds. I traded some other junk to get the honzilla, basically I started of with a old 1980 yamaha TT250 dirtbike that I got for free and traded up. I think between gas and a few odds and ends I have $200 bucks in it. I could not believe it the guy did have all of his teeth, he was only 18 tho. I dont know how many of you have been to far eastern kentucky but it is amazing how they can put a trailer ANYWHERE. There were trailers out top of moutains, in hill sides, the dudes known about setting up trailers for sure. Me and T-shee will be fixing it up, will keep you guys posted.
  7. Ill give you $40 for the reeds
  8. Well me and T-shee picked it up today. Its in fair shape for the year. It for sure needs a kicker, shift shaft, throttle cable. The guy told me it was in great shape. After 5 hours of driving thru appilacia we arrived and then found out it is in average shape. I never would have made the drive if I would have known. The guy lived on a road hardly wide enough for one car, tuff to get to...it gets better. redneck:"Yer is da fassdted wheeler round heir bud" Me: Really redneck:"got in trueble on dis roade got me at savendy six I was rhacin uh banshce hed a 409 kit in it" Me: What happened redneck:" oh i ate em up" At this point T-shee coughs bullshit and im trying not to laugh. He asked him if the tecate had a lying-cub motor in it.

  10. Me and T-shee are driving 10 hours round trip to pick up a 87 tecate 4 tomorrow. From what I have seen it is in very good condition, the guy says it is in great shape. It needs a rear brake caliper and an airfilter. I know these are very hard to find. Would it be possible to trade it heads up for a banshee? Should I just hang on to it? I just picture me rolling it down a hill and looking for parts for the rest of my life.
  11. Awesome close up of that VIN now I have something to use when I register my quad in indiana
  12. So 1000.00 for the roller...but 1500 with a motor in running condition?
  13. Yea I forgot to mention I have a complete parts motor that goes with it. I wouldnt mind keeping it. Id just like to put more time into my banshee before spring.
  14. Been meaning to work on this thing but just dont have the time. The clutch is out of adjustment and the cable is stretched. I know nothing about these motors. It also needs carbs. It has older keihens on it now but it looks like they are in bad shape. The chain is really tight and the gas tank is only 1.5gals. Outside of carbs and a clutch cable it only needs labor. It has spark and compression, 185psi on each side. Im looking for a blaster, warrior, 300ex. Some work is ok but no basket cases
  15. When you said 9 mil I thought you were talking about a crank. LOL I was like damn this dude has a 9 mil but stock pipes. I guess it depends on what type of 9 mil it is. You can get a Highpoint 9mil for $130 new here in Indiana.
  16. Count me in for sure. We had a awesome time last trip. I hope it warms up.
  17. Judicial practitioner engineer...or i guess you could say cop
  18. Looks like he left his gas on..tisk tisk tisk
  19. I thought I was in the humor section when I posted this, I was using tabbed browsing, can any mods move this?
  20. Opps that was a joke guys, id never hit my wife.
  21. I hit my wife today...I feel like such **@%. We were having an argument and she went too far. She made a comment along the lines of "your loser father couldn't keep a relationship together and you can't either!". When I was around 11, my parents got divorced and fought for custody. My dad wanted me and my brother because he genuinely loved us. My mom wanted us just to spite my dad. She won, and my dad kinda lost it over the decades. This was too far for me. I had never, EVER hit a girl before, but it happened so fast I didn't even know I did it. Basically, I cocked my fist back, and flew it straight into her nose. I thought it would be like the movies where she would get a little trickle of blood. It wasn't. Her nose EXPLODED.I think I must of broken a bunch of cartilege or something because blood shot out of both her nostrils, got all over me, got all over the floor. She staggered backwards, hit her head hard enough on the wall to leave a dent, and slumped down. We were both stunned for about 10 seconds before she started crying hysterically and ran into my room and locked the door. So I went to wash my hands, and while I was in the bathroom I heard her run out of the house and take off in her car. That was about 5 hours ago so I guess she didn't go the cops or anything. So later I went home and broke down in tears.. My mom came in the room and when she heard about the story she got scared and said your moving with your auntie and uncle in bel air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and had dice in the mirror if anything Ican say that this cab was rare but I thought "nah yo homes to bel air!" I pulled up to a house for about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cab yo homes smell ya later, looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my thrown as the prince of bel air.
  22. Tight trails. Recently we have been riding acrossed some bridges that connect trails. instead of riding comfortable inside the rails on the bridge like the people I ride with, I ride on top. Its a very tight fit. Im in the market for some new a-arms due the condition of the threads on my current ones. Thought I should fork out a couple hundred extra and try to go aftermarket. I could sell my front rims and then get wider a arms...
  23. The offset on my front rims already gives me a lot of width
  24. Is there any way to get aftermarket a-arms with replaceable ball joints but stock length?
