its not firing at idle. we plugged the right carburetor and it ran great so that would tell me that it is not pulling in fuel.

we checked them while it was running and its getting HOT spark on both cylinders.the carbs are clean and everything. no air leaks.

we got it running and its running on the right then it hops to the left then runs on that then hops back over. how do i check the plug caps?

i checked spark by grounding the plug in the head stud. i synced the carbs by sight. i did it that way before and it ran good.then it just slowly ran worse.

yes. eveything is synced and gapped.

this damn thing is really pissing me off now. brand new stator,pickup coil, everything else checks out fine. will fire up but will barely idle due to some ignition problem. it has good spark on the left cylinder but its dead on the right. then i go and give it a little more throttle and that side fires up. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! i got a trip tommorow and this thing fucks up.

i think its gay too . the only reason they make you register it because croom is a state owned park.

its 50 bucks a year to ride there. imo its 100% worth it. tampa to croom is an hour give or take. from my house its about 4 hours. if your bike is 2002 or newer you need a title. and its its older all you need is a VIN so im set.

if youre comming down go to croom. 2600 acres. im goin there the 26th. you can ride wfo all day and not cover the same trail twice.

theyre synced. i got a huge trip this weekend and i have no possible way to get the removal kit and the crossover tube. after this weekend then its a different story. i gapped the pickup coil and its at .15 and the flywheel is tight. im not really worried because its hitting on both cylinders. so if its running on both then its getting fuel and oil so im not worried about blowing it up.

theres no moisture in the stator. it runs a bit better with the new plugs in but it still pops back a little.

how do you check the caps? everything else ill check.

checked for air leakes yeaterday and theres none. the boots are fine. i just put 2 new plugs in it and it was a bitch to start. i put in b8es plugs. when it was running it was spitting out of the exhaust really bad.

so you think i should turn the fuel/air mixure screw in? i have it out 2 turns now.

its stock with a single k&n. besides that it is 100% stock

i havent even had it running for a month and its starting to mess up. it usually starts on 1 kick which i would only imagine is good. it will idle fine but its boggy as hell cold and when i take off. also it seems to be backfiring or popping on the right cylinder when i give it gas regardless of how fast im going.also the right cylinder seems like it is not smoking at all to where the left is perfect. the only thing i have on it is a k&n.at sea level, stock jets,reeds,pipes has the shitty tors and boost bottle if that helps at all. got a trip next weekend and i cant get parts that quick so what do i have to do to get it right?

bought mine for 900 bucks and i got 1700 in it total just so i can ride it.its bone stock as of right now too.

somebody has to have some decent stockers.

i got my front tires off fine with my bead breaker. i used soapy water and two prybars. my tire had a hole in the sidewall so i just ended up cutting it off but i broke both beads with it. did you take the valve core out?

all i need is the tires no wheels.

i would like holeshots but ill take stock tires too. i cant ride on bald tires.

sooooooo. i guess i didnt do that great of a job cleaning the carbs. i found 1 of the pilots were plugged and the throttle cables were crossed so it was always holding my throttle open. also synced the carbs. runs absolutley beautiful. thanks for your help!
