  1. easy. pull of bowls, depending on how bad the floats are stuck id spray then with a little pb blaster and let it sit for a little bit. if you have it advance auto sells carburator cleaner in a bucket. its so much better than carb cleaner in a can. REMOVE EVERY GASKET AND O-RING!!!!!!!!!!! it will melt all rubber and paper gaskets. after this remove the needle and seat and all other jets and let them sit in the cleaner for about 15+ minutes depending how bad they are. DO NOT PUT THE FLOATS IN IT!!!! have a can of carb cleaner handy to clean out the jets and carb then blow it out with air. this is how i do mine all the time with zero problems. hope this helps.

  8. the oil looked good. i only drained the pan but didnt take out the oil filter to look at what was in the filter.the carburators were fuckin full of water and varnish. all four carbs were completley clogged with shit. the guy said that it would turn over on the electric start so that kinda leads me to think the kicker is frozen. i cant pull start it because the rear axle is off of it because the other guy bent the axle. the next time i can work on it will probable tuesday cause i dont have the trailer at the house. untill then i just wanted to get some ideas.
  9. its not a banshee but i have a 1977 honda cb550 4 cylinder in my mini sand rail and i cant kick it over. i dont think the motor is seized because there was no water in the oil and the cylinders look like new. how common is it for the kick starter to be seize up?
