lol 6 gears definatly all banshees if you want to make sure look on yours by the shifter on the side case and it will tell you the gears .. 1.N.2.3.4.5.6

the shaft just pulls out after you remove your clutch basket and shifter, if im not mistaken you have to remove the shift shaft to get to the star i think ....some one will let you know if im wrong eather way you will have to drain oil, drain coolant, remove kick starter, remove clutch cover, remove clutch. then if you decide to do the star you will have to remove your shifter pull the shift shaft through (pull through the clutch side) then take out the star i think its just a star head screw that hold it on. -dan

i too am only 17 but i have learned even with reliable transportation the good paying jobs come to those who earn them and have experence . ive learned to just save and get the more important stuff first.

If you just want another fuel line, you can have the reserve option, but with moddifing the inside for better flow it takes away that option... personally I chose to keep my reserve because I live in the mountains.

lol waaaa laaaaaa thats how its done if you noticed in one of my first posts i said " i modify it" that would be the inside i port it out each hole and also connect the reserve and main hole . CRAP i knew someone would let it out lol i was just testing the hq members anyway i got the fitting off a car fuel filter i just hack it off there ...yes they just press in i put a drop of lock tight on mine .....Ill still do it for anyone who wants it done ....for those of you who want to do it yourself ill be putting up a build thread as soon as i can get around to it . now that the cat is out of the bag.

lol i know right thats what i was thinking that whoever wrote that knew nothing about carbs's please note that i am not saying that this is in anyway better then the pingel im just saying that it would be better to have one hose to each carb then one hose split into two ,,,,,,ill prally just make a thread on how to modify your stock .....idk

your not busting my bubble at all...the way i see it and please correct me if im wrong is that the pingel fuel valve just has two outlets,and a on and off lever at the bottum, i dont have one to look at and inspect it maybe the inside is slanted for better flow. i know drag bikes should get the real pingel but for those who just ride in the woods or at the dunes 5.00 to me is a good deal. what i do is add a extra outlet and modify the inside of the valve. this was just a idea i had no reason to get on bad terms over it ...it would seem like one outlet one hose into two would restrict fuel flow so just by adding a extra outlet and hose this would make a big difference not to include the inside modification. its the simple idea that the less corners the faster you can go, the more corners the slower you Have to go. the Quote you found on the pingle says "fuel valve creates a venturi affect which speeds up fuel through the needle and seat opening which keeps the carburetor bowl full of fuel at all times." i thought that the carb bowl fills up with fuel and then the gas gets pulled up to the needle and seat opening not the other way around.......i might be wrong please correct me on how a carb works.

the dual pingel it looks like only has a single inlet according to the pic on F.A.S.T's website. i havent tested mine yet to see if it flows at the same rate as the pingel, seeing that i dont want to spend the money on a pingel. this idea IS in testing ...thats why im going to GIVE one to the first 3 people for free so that they can test it and post their comments.
