  1. dont use photoshop if ur not going to pay for it. i used photoshop be4 and its ok but now i use Paint.net. its free, as good as photoshop and has mostly all the features and its easy to use. also, they have a forum on their website, so if u wanna know how to make a stainless steel look or something, u can search it on there. its great. i love itt!!! go to paint.net and download it. its comepletely free. Note:"Paint.net" is different than the "Paint" program that comes with Windows XP or Vista. "Paint.net" is a photoshop program.
  2. hey pplz. i have a 2001 Banshee and i really want to do an appearence job on it. im planing to cut the fenders (front and back) and paint them blue (the stock yamaha blue). I also want to maybe make decals or graphics because i have a vinyl machine. i also want to put maybe those small round billet lights or square ones. i will also get new handlebar grips. i am also thinking about buying some rims for it. Either the ITP SS112 (NOT THE SPORT EDITION!) or the ITP SS212 on all 4s. i dont know what colors to get for the rims. pictures or the rims are posted below. ITP SS112 ITP SS212 what i want to know is, what colors can i use that look good with Blue fenders (race cut style, both front and back), Chrome Toomey T5's, and ITP SS112 or SS212 rims? With your input, please let me know what color and model rims that you would choose (from the ones showed above), what color frame, color axles, A arms, Swingarm, etc... (anything that can be painted) my banshee isnt ugly or any thing, looks normal and all but I want to do a major makeover to make it unique! Any input is accepted!
  3. maybe ur shocks are blown, need heavy duty springs, or need to tighten up the spring by screwing the bolt lower.
  4. hey pplz. I have a 2001 Yamaha Banshee. I dont have any pics right now. the whole suspension is stock. i want to know if there is anything i can do to raise the rear end higher. i know i can add swingarms and stuff. i want to get it about 2-4 inches higher. i am riding on a stock swinger. any mods i can do? i do have a welder and steel i can use if i need to. if i put a +2 swinger on it, how much higher will it go? also, will the tires go pass the grab bar (i have a stock grab bar)? When i do a wheelie and go down and scrape the grab bar, i dont want the banshee to go passed 12 oclock. in other words, will it go beyond 90 degrees? anybody know how i can raise it up? ANY INPUT IS ACCEPTED! thanks! Hopefull i can upload a picture soon.
  5. i am looking around to trade a pair of FMF Gold Series Fatty Pipes with stingers and silencers For Toomey T5's with stingers and silencers. the pipes are in good condition and are chrome. i didnt take pics yet or anything because i was just on this website and it just popped in my head. the pipes are in good condition. so far, the only dent i can think of right now is on right stinger tube. u cant see it unless u take off the seat. the dent has no affect to the performance. i will upload pictures as soon as possible. i am going on vacation soon, and the banshee is at my other location in a shipping container in my yard. please post if you are interested or have any questions. i am in Jamaica, New York 11433 U.S.A

  11. wat about the black, will the black come off? all i have to do is buy chrome polish, apply it, and the pipes will be clean (no blackness or blue)?
  12. hey guys. i got Toomey T5's on my banshee. the bottom of the pipes where they hook up to the engine are kind of black and blue. is it possible to get them clean? is the black stuff tar? Please help! Thanks!
  13. Glad to help!
  14. im not really a motor expert and all, but it may be carbon in your pipes. im not too sure. maybe your engine parts are wearing out or inside ur engine is dirty with oil and junk. maybe your carbs need adjustment. maybe your gas mixture is too lean or too strong. maybe your air filter is dirty or the banshee just aint gettin enough air into it. Try taking ur full exhaust system off, and blow all the pipes with high pressures water and some degreaser. blow everything out of them! Use an air compressor if u have to. that should get them clean. if the problem still occurs after u clean them, then try something else. like i said before, im not a motor expert, i know a little cause i mess around with my banshee and im just thinking common sense. i tried to think of everything that i think can cause that problem. Hpoefully u get it fixed. bring it too a shop and get it inspected or checked. GOOD LUCK!
  15. in another topic on bansheehq.com i heard that they lost power from their banshee because of the toomey hush kit. ill call the people one day and check if they can let me off the hook. i was looking at their photo gallery on their website (atvny.com) and on the round track i saw a banshee. i couldn't see if the banshee had stock pipes, aftermarkets, or spark arrestors. the fence was in the way and so where the other atvs. lol i'll most likely post back to give everybody an update.
  16. Thanks for the reply guys!
  17. I got toomey t5's on my 01 banshee. i want to go riding at A.T.V. New York (www.atvny.com) but i need to meet the following requirements: >spark arrestors preferred >85 db's at 200 feet i don't want anything that will kill out all the power from my banshee. do i have to buy a toomey hush kit with spark arrestor to meet 85 db's at 200 feet or less, or can i buy a toomey spark arrestor or some other spark arrestor? all i need to do is have 85 db's or less at 200 feet and wont suck the power from my banshee. Thanks!
