  1. I am about 2 hours maybe north of indy straight up 65. I have not yet started the shee up yet to find out what wi;; happen cause I need to adjust and syn my carbs in which I have not done yet. And I am also waiting for my T6's to get here they should be here any day. I was wantong to get everything dialed in before I cranked it up. Yes I have tried moving that actuater screw all the way in and all the way out and adjusted the slack in relation to where the actuator screw is. Do you think if I hook everything up it will be alright. I really don't think it will be. I really don't want to take it tot the shop butit is looking like will have to. Because Ireally don't want to fork out the $$$. I just forked out over 1500 for the motor and the t6's. But I got to get her runnin you know.
  2. hey dragbanshee what part of Indiana are you from I live up in Valparaiso area. If I ever get things runnin' we could go ridin' sometime.
  3. Hey what's up guys. Alright here is the update. I tooke the pressure plate off and made sure the little ball and rod were in the hole and they were. So then I figured I would take all the clutch and friction plates off. So I did that. Then I realized I had a spare set of plates in my old engine. So I grabbed them and installed them and I still have the same response it's not disengaging.
  4. You are right I am having problems with the disengagement. This is a fairly new clutch that was on the engine that I just bought. I have that set screw adjusted so my arrows line up on the top of the engine case. When I pull in the clutch I do see the pressure plate move away from the clutch plates.
  5. I can find neutral when shifting when shee is off. But my problem is when pull the clutch lever in the shee still stays in gear.
  6. Man I need help I can not get my shee in neutral when I pull the clutch in. I don't know what to do? I read my clymers and I have lined my clutch arrows up (the ones on top of the case where the clutch cable goes into) Nothing . I also try adjusting that clutch plate screw all over the place and nothing. Please help what do I do next. My shee will switch gears and find neutral but nothing when I engage the clutch.
  7. Hey guys I need your expert opinion. I just installed a used engine got it all ready to crank over but I realized i can't get my shee in neutral it shifts up and and down when like normal when it's not running but I can't hit neutral. When I pull my clutch in it also doesn't engage me in neutral. The shee will roll but but you can here the compression almost like it's in gear. But before I put my chain on I could get the that small gear to spin and find neutral. Anything would help guys I need this up and going by the weekend Help!
