Sounds like we did the exact same thing. Mine was stuck, I tried tapping on it, and so on. Thats when I stopped just like you did, and got on here to ask the same question and found out about the CClamp idea. .....lol.... Needless to say it was fine.

As long as you did not hit it hard enough to bend the rod, bearing, or mess anything up, you should be ok. All depends on how hard you hit it.

I got this C-Clamp from Lowes for like 10 bucks. You can take a deep socket that is about 1 size smaller than the pin, and press it all the way through, and push the pin out the other side.

My next shee will be a sleeper like this. Just diff color. Sick bike.

Newer is not always better. Mods is what makes it worth anything, not the year model. I would take your bike over a newer stock banshee any day. Just hard to sell anything these days unless it is cheap.

I like the thumb, but man I wish I had a twist in the dunes. By the end of the weekend I am using my forarm to push it. I do not ride enough sand to get use to it.

That stuff works. you may have to sand some first. I took the suggestion from PaulieB over on E2S. He does some great work. I did mine. I had no scratches, just fading so no sanding for me. I did not think it would work. I took some 0000 steel wool, smothed it all out. I then used Orange Glo floor finish. Put it on in several even coats, and it worked. Shined up good. I need to redo it b/c it has some runs in it. I thought it was not working, so I picked it up a few times to look at it and it ran some. At least some of yall got a couple days of riding out of it. Glad we changed our plans last minute when the forecast turned bad. Sucks about all the carnage. At least everyone is alive and kickin.
