  4. Ok so I have been playing with the idea of getting some reeds for the shee. I want to know exactly what they do. what ones are the best for my machine and if its even worth it to do. Mods are in the signature but I will be adding a Wildcard Racing Noss head soon. Any info would be great. Thanks guys
  5. How much shipped to 84015 for the Rear Knobbie tires and rims? Pics? Tread? Leaks?
  6. Soundl alot like a problem I was having. I ended up taking it to a shop and they found that I had burned a wire with my pipes. I was still getting really good spark but it ran like SHIT like you are saying. I had a new wireing harness put in and it made all the differance in the world. You might want to look at the electrical system. Hope you get her running dude!
  7. And if they are frozen then what?????
  8. That is what I tried and I couldnt get it to retract far enough.
  9. First of all, All banshees are money pits! that said if I had it to do over again I would get the newer one and add your bolt ons rather than fixing someone elses bike. I bought mine used and it had been ridden hard and put away wet, I have spent almost what I paid originally to grt her running right again. Its been fun but also stressfull. Get the 05 and spen the money on what you want for extras!
  10. Sweet! thanks for all the input guys! For some stupid reason I think I need to stop. We spend all this money to go fast and you dont think about the breaks until they go out!
  11. Right the neweer pads wont fit because I can not get the Piston to retract. Also some info on how to bleed them would be great. I had a 75' chevy Nova and I had no trouble when I would do the brakes on that deal, but the Shee is giving me HELL. They didnt fade either the pedal just went soft on them, That is why I think I need to bleed them! Thanks guys
  12. Come on some one has to know what I am doing wrong!
  13. Ok so without all the "just take them off comments" I need a little advice. Late last year I changed the brake pads (rear) in my shee. They worked great. Well on my last trip out they stoped working great and didnt work at all. I have a slight problem in that I can not get the piston to retract to get new pads in. what have I done? is there a trick to it? Also I need to know how to bleed them. Any info would be great guys. Thanks in advance
  14. That is a Nice, Clean looking machine! I love the Yellow skin!

  16. I havnt had mine done yet but when I do it will be Wild Card Racing. slobanshee06 does sweet work I have ridden a few bikes he die and damn!, dude does good work. everyone has thier own oppinion and mine is that he is the guy. look into it.
  17. I love the 250r but my only concern would be that it is getting real hard to find parts. even OEM they are getting harder and harder to get your hands on. They are sweet fast machines.
  18. My '89 did the exact same thing when I got it. I always had to stall it to shut it off. I tore the switch apart, cleaned it and bent the contacts and still nothing. I ended up paying a guy on here $5 for a new switch and havnt had a problem since. my advice, find a new one and stop racking your brain! Good luck man.
