99 banshee has new itp baja rear rims with one ride on the holeshot xct tires mounted on them,has dg bumper,dg swingarm skid plate,pro circut pipes,white bros boost bottle,new boyseen reeds,newer clutch and throttle cable,one industries graphics,newer kg factory clutches. bike needs crank rebuilt or a new crank. i have the motor apart for any potental buyer to inspect. i have a itled 2002 yamaha banshee for sale....the bike has an extended swingarm,dg pipes/silencers,new chain rollers,new chain,boyseen reeds,kn filter,jetted,new headlight bulbs,new axle bearings,new front wheel bearings.looks to have been proted....bike needs a top end ,also the crank has a bit more play on the left rod the right....but i may be able to get a n.i.b wiseco crank before it sells..i am also in search of 300ex parts. make offers just talk to me i dnt got time to do two prjects

i got a used 2 into one carb and it has a twist throttle......does anyone know were i can aquire a thumb throttle/cable?,thanks,chad

it is the stock one would it hurt to run it without it? as long as i keep an eye on the chain

does the chain slide change with the years because i bought a new one and it is putting my chain in a bind... will it hurt to run it without this?

does any1 have pis of this?

i was wounderin if i could polish the stock clutch cover ( the thing that says yamah)?

ok guys i found some probs my first find was that the tops of my carbs (the caps were loose) and my choke tube opped off i hope this will fix it!

sorry lol i know i suck at explainin things but here is the story: at first the quad would run fine start on the first kick but when you would get on it, the right cylinder would not fully kick in and when you held it wide open it wold completly dog out. so i tore the carbs ,reeds,airbox off cleaned the air filter ,the reeds are brand new and i clened the carbs..... i put it all back together and now i am it will not start by knicking it but like i said it will start if i get pulled but it will pop/backfire like cray when i am just setting still it runs like a fucking champ past half throttle it jst throws this fit when it is not getting ran. i also noticed that it still has the cylinder kicking on and off before half throttle after i am at half throttle though it kicks on and stays on......

i dont know but i am pretty dam shure it is fuel related because it would start on the first kick and i tore it apart sunday night and put it together yesterday morning and now it is doing this i think it may be getting to much or not enough fuel or i have something adjusted wrong on my dam throttle cable i can post pics of stuff later if you name some items that it could be like the way my fuel line is run ect........

yep all check out ok i was woundering could i have to adjust the throttle cable up at the throttle? because when i took it off it was turned out a bit and i put it the whole way in........

yes they are like new..... also it seems to hit on both cylinders better if the choke is on i was woundering i mabe its not getting enough or getting to much fuel.... it has a gay boost bottle on it and i thougt i mabey raan the gas line the wrong way because i went up over the bottle...... like i said it runs awsome as ong as you are ripping on it... it only does this at low rpms

ok guys i cleaned the carbs,filter,airbox and put it back together synced the carbs and it will not kick start but if someone pulls me it will start but it does not want to run and it backfires like crazy and the right cylinder kicks on and off...... but when i am in motion it rips awsome and i noticed that when i am shifting gears it will sometimes rev out a bit when i let off the throttle .... any advice is apprciated

yep there synnced right and the compression is exalent i think it may be in the carbs because like i said it will idle/rev with the clutch in but as soon as i am in 4-6th gear thats when i notice it also if i hiold the throttle at the same spot it will sometimes run how it should but not all the time.......

plugs look fine i dont know why but like i said if it will rev out fine if the clutch is in and it will idle all day but as soon as it moves thats when the problem occurs?????

ok fellas i was ridin the shee today and it will rev out fine but when i get going my right cylinder is not completly there its making a pinging noice in the exhaust and when i am at wot in 6th gear it completly dogs out ......any advice is greatly apreciated thanks,chad

oh my bad lol so i mean could it be that its just low on tranny oil?? because i find it wierd that it will engage aftwr a while

oh ok hey i noticed you have pro circuts i have them to but they are dirty and have some surface rust ...what do you use to keep em clean like yours? and it feels good to finaly get my dream bike

ok so put oil in it if that dont work should i still try and adjust the screw? and how much would you want fr the cutch cause ima lil low on cash i just got this baby lasnite lol
