My bros shee..new piston rings and bore. Right side is alittle rich and the left side alittle lean. Is it common to change the "c" clip on the main jet to be in different locations from right side to left side? Just don't seem right to me. 100 psi on right, 100psi on left. Really don't understand how this can happen and how to fix it.
Ya, the rubber tube is in place. I'm talking about inside the carb,I have the bowl off, the right carb has one bronze tubes, the left carb has two bronze tube (a big one and a small one). Is this correct?
My bros shee will only run on the right cylinder. We rebuilt the engine due to a broken ring and now the damn thing only runs on the right cylinder.. He disasembled the carb/cleaned and now he noticed the carbs are not the exact same. The carb is missing a bronze tube, is that the way its supposed to be????The other carb (left) has the choke knob is that why they are different? Or are missing parts?
I'm located in Akron Ohio. Sorry but that Blaster is to big for my son. Looking at 80 or 90 cc. PS I also like the Korean made stuff, e-ton, kasea, allsport, polaris.
I have saved up enough clams to purchase a youth quad so I do not want to sell/trade my shee. If you have a good little youth quad then contact me with the details. Jerry
By name brand, I mean yamaha, kawasaki,honda,polaris.. I may be interested in e-ton or some other makes but not the really cheap chinese crap unless they have been in business awhile. Jerry
Thinking about trading my all stock 87 shee for a youth quad for my son. Must be name brand and in very good condition above 80cc's. North east Ohio area or you will have to travel.
I have a 1965 buick wildcat 2 door hardtop with a 1970 455cid. Runs, drives and stops good, can drive home. Looking to trade for a 90-110 cc quad for my son. Price on the buick is $1850 so the quad has to pretty nice or you have to add some cash. Jerry
My all stock 1987 shee takes at least 10-15 minutes to warm up. It also seems to smoke more than other shees. Plugs seem alittle discolored (blackish). Should I move the "c" clips up a notch to lean it out alittle more??? Or am I way off base here???
A different board I am on used to do that (50 post's before you can use the classifieds) thing. But people would get their 50 posts in one or two days by just saying stupid shit. They finally did away with the 50 post rule, and warn everybody to deal with people you know and trust.
I bought my 1987 shee for $400... All it needed was an axle carrier, bearings and rebuilt carbs and cleaned the 10 year old gas out of the tank, and new j arm bushings.
A buddy of mine wants to take his jeep to silver lake dunes. I will take my shee. I looked at the silver lake web sight but didn't find answers. Can we both ride in the same area? Do I really need paddle tire on my shee? Will they let me ride without chest protector and knee and elbow pads? Does my shee need to be registered? Can he run open headers on his jeep? Any help would great, thanks
