i have a 02 banshee bout 30hrs on top end, pro circuit pipes, tors removed, new chain, tm designworks case saver, new ac racing blackline nerf bars w/pegs, new front sprocket, skin industries sticker kit, k&n with outerwear, new yamaha wiring harnes. black/wht good condition has nrmal wear and scratches for an 02 i have the title. looking to trade for a nice automatic quad utility or 4x4 and maybe some cash depending on the trade must be automatic, its for my wife

the spark is good swapped cables and still a problem on that side. it idles but a lil rough. it stalls after running about a min. or so. both plugs are a nice brownish color. will doing a plug chop help? also both carbs and all parts were cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner before being jetted. mods are pipes k&n thats it. the bike is running ok not missing or anything

i just had my bike jetted at a local shop. i took it out and it was running ok but alil rich down low, bogging a bit. i had it out for a little while and it was fine but after a few hours it started running funny. it seemed like the left cylinder wasnt firing. i took it home and replaced the plugs but the same problem is still there. the bike starts right up, idles a lil rough. i felt the pipes and the left side doesnt seem to be firing b/c the pipe isnt wrming up like the right does. if i rev it up to about half throttle the pipe begins to warm and i can feel it coming out the silencer. im going to take it back to the shop but was wondering what was causing this?

i just had my bike re-jetted. i had it out and it was running fine for a few hours. it seemed a little rich bottom end, will changing the clip on the needle jet fix that?? also at low rpms to mid the left cylinder doesn't seem to be firing, so i started messing with the pilot screw and it seemed to start firing. when i gave it alot of throttle it was definitely firing. at first when i let it idle giving it no throttle the left pipe didnt seem to be getting hot. when i started giving it more throttle the pipe begann to heat up as the right side did. is this a jetting issue or is something else wrong?? it kicks over just fine

do you have rear black fenders? if so ill pick them up this week im in nj

i ride sand quarrys, and trails and my razr 2's are awesome. my buddy has run skat track terrain track and desert storm's and both work great. the skat track tear anyone up behind him with sticks rocks and anything else thats there.

the slides were completely frozen with lotsa sand and dirt. carbs were stripped and completely cleaned. thanx guys

should i go withe billet basket or is it ok to stay stock b/c im not heavily modded>

i have black itp baja wheels and black nerfs stock silver frame an a arms. gettin new plastics what does everyone think black or silver. im havin a hard time deciding.

i dont have aheavily modded banshee nor will i in the near future. just minor stuff pipes jetted k&n. is the tusk clutch kit good? i ride sand quarrys in nj and trails.

the cap is where the dirt was getting in, where the cable goes throught the cap had duct tape on it. i just got the bike not too long ago and never fixed that. but no with the slide and all out it still doesn't return. the only way the cable moves is to push the throttle or pull the cable back out by hand.

aren't the harnesses different from 01to 02

is $120 a good price for a brand new oem banshee wiring harness? thats what the stealership wants for it. is that the going rate?

the cable moves freely. when i push the thumb throttle the cable pulls in through the top of the carb. when i let go of the throttle the cable stays down. i can just pull the cable back out with my hand but it doesn't return by itself. is something stuck inside the carb?

the dirt is in the top pat of the carb underneath the cap that the throttle goes through. i beleive on top of the slide.

it is just one side whatever the problem is, it is below the slide. how do i remove the slide to chech below that? do i just pull it up? also should it have dir on the slide?

is there anything under the slide that should pull the cable back down? also is it normal for there to be dirt or moisture in there?
