  1. For what you have and the riding you do….as Stock stroke Serval top end kit would be the hot ticket. You could run all your existing parts with nothing to change but your domes. Your carbs and pipes will work fine.
  2. Prices so low they are almost free. Cameron's not in it for the money....he's in it for world domination. Call him. Having someone who knows how to help solve the problem is cheaper then the cost of a learning curve littered with ruined parts and wasted ride days. REDLINE redline REDLINE redline REDLINE
  3. It was also "engineered" for that restrictive stock exhaust and from the factory, it pulls FAR lower RPM than we are running them at. So we all dabble in re-engeneering.......there is more than one path to results. The choice to run a single carb is no different than picking one exhaust over another. Just a different path.
  4. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=173907 Hey Jim, This is how it's done. ^^^^
  5. I see a lot of 100+ MPH Banshees on craigslist....
  6. Hire someone then.....but neuter them fenders.
  7. Redline Or REDLINE You can always call Cameron at REDLINE R E D L I N E and unlike pASSion...his phone works.
  8. Your jetting could be lean, you might have an airleak, timing is to advanced, flywheel might have spun, or compression might require better fuel. Any way you play it = DETONATION
  9. Only in a 70-75+ HP application. The loss of top end is widely accepted rumor. It's completely untrue for lower HP motors, especially unported motors. We have a matched pair of 370 long rod motors in our group and one has twin Mikuni 28's the other has a Graydon 2into1 intake with a 35PWK Air Striker. Both pull matching curves on the dyno and we trade wins in the dune drags with whoever gets the best launch. Even the butt dyno agrees. LOL BUT!.....That's with a GRAYDON INTAKE. That Trinity unit is garbage. But stock carbs can make 70+ HP....So why people always wanna drop coin on carbs before porting is beyond me.........
  10. LOL….I didn't say his customer service would be any better. But at least you can find him on the site.
  11. Well your screen name is BUILDER and you actually visit the site so you're already blowing Passion away as far as site involvement goes.
  12. I go every month……..(My dates are posted) They act like long travel weekend is a big deal. Yet they go on the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor day…...
  13. More than likely you need a 27.5 pilot and then take some time playing with your airscrew to find out what the motor needs to be real crisp.
  14. Yes. Most who have any mods go straight to a 27.5 After installing V4's most need a 30 Fine tune the airscrew to find the sweet spot.
  15. ^^^^ Great info and good starting point.
  16. Not a bad idea at all. Those 4's like one size bigger pilot. (unless you're already running fat down low)
  17. Well since your bike has an MX port….the 2's are losing throttle response as well as low and midrange power for your application. (Not to mention that your motor doesn't make enough power to see any benefit from having 2's. So the 2's won't out perform the 4's in the top end power.) V4's are only $200 dollars. The hard core drag guys buy up those 2's any time they are listed. You can get the 4's and not lose a dime. You have 2's…..if you wanna follow Jeff's advice…..feel free. I'm just providing info….
  18. You sir are a moron. Yes.....that's how things should work. ....send motor out for work and buy another bike to ride for the season while your builder burns hours on the phone sounding so smart to perspective new customers while deadlines are missed by Months. Here's an idea Mr. Patient Pants....pull your motor and send it to the OP since you're so good at waiting and have so many spare machines.....
  19. ^^^^^ This. And Jim has been off the grid with this customer for over a month. So he would have had a month to be ready for the race if Jim spent less time chatting with Colbyand others and more time finishing work he promised. OP finally hears from Jim and gets promised a new shipment date and just extends the disappointment another week......
  20. That builder probably doesn't have dyno sheets or any testing either. But it doesn't stop him from having an opinion. I however tested them extensively. The outcome was fully covered here and those results were backed up by many riders butt dyno feedback as well.
  21. With title - $2200 to asking price Without title - $2000 to $2200 I agree about receipts. Anyone can SAY it has a crank and motor work. Could just be pipes and carbs. That's closer to $1800.
  22. But strip frame bare first, otherwise if it comes up negative you only lose a frame. The "ATV" = the frame...just like a receiver = a gun.
  23. I offered up FREE information that is REAL. I couldn't care less what all you do. It doesn't change the facts. Do what you will….but I'll comment on these statements so you don't convince others that the facts are unimportant…. If you "Claim" to police, that someone is riding a stolen bike……The cops will investigate. That will involve them asking the current holder of the bike to show them a title. Without a title there is a 50% chance they confiscate the machine and a 100% chance that if they do, it won't get returned since that person has not title. If the machine never leaves your possession you have a 50% chance of keeping it. But Cam….If you have no title, and I roll your bike into the bed of my truck while 10 of your friends WATCH ME DO IT…you are no longer in possession of it and to get it back WILL REQUIRE A TITLE. If you "Claim" to police, that someone STOLE your machine and identify the bike as yours……100% chance it gets confiscated till someone shows a title. If neither of you can….sold at public auction! NONE of your friends OWN quads in the eyes of the law……It's common for people to be sheep and assume since everyone does it, it's fine. (Hell…everyone I know speeds…that don't mean I'm not going to get a ticket!) A bill of sale does NOT prove ownership. It is a piece of paper that protects you from the previous owner claiming you still owe money on the transaction. It is NOT seen as evidence of proof of sale. It's simply a private version of a release of lien. No…It's very common for people to NOT take the "Bill of Origin" that they are given from a dealership and use it to get a title generated from the state because the state charge fees and sometimes taxes on the sale at that point. It even more common for people to skip the title transfer process to save on fees. If you think your state doesn't do tiles for ATV's….clearly post that statement as well as your state and I'll easily prove you wrong with just a few mouse clicks…... Only because he said what you wanted to hear. But he's mistaken as are you. Hey, come buy a machine or a frame from me. I have the title…but I'll just tell you I lost it and we'll do a bill of sale. Next season I'll list the bike as stolen and we'll see if your "Bill of sale" has more value in the eyes of the court than my "Registered Title". When the cops pick up the machine….I'll get all the nice parts you put on it for me! Regardless of any dreamt up situation…..without a title…you don't OWN your machine. Your just in possession of it. Think about that when you drop $5,000 in upgrades and realize that ANYTHING attached to that frame goes with for the ride if the cops take it for any reason……..
  24. No. I title is PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. A bill of sale is PROOF OF PAYMENT. If you have a machine that had 3 previous owners...and all you have is a bill of sale, let's look at what that can mean..... If it was EVER reported stolen by ANYONE. ....Your bill of sale only proves you're guilty of receiving stolen goods. Cops still take machine and return it to the last owner of record (whoever had the last title) or an insurance company (if they paid on a claim) or with no title of record....it is sold at police auction. A bill of sale in your hand DOES NOT PROVE YOU OWN ANYTHING. All is proves is that YOU PAID THE LAST PERSON IN FULL. Proof of payment in full does NOT make you the owner by law. There is always someone who comes on here and says "Our state doesn't issue titles." They are wrong......at the least a Bill of origin is issued. THAT PAPERWORK is what you are supposed to submit to the state to generate a title. If you have a machine WITHOUT A TITLE.... you don't OWN IT....you're just in possession of it. If I met you at a ride spot and loaded it in my truck and drove off.....you could callbthe cops and I would get busted for theft. .....but without a title in your name....THEY WILL NOT RETURN THE MACHINE TO YOU. Moral of the story......get a title.
