  1. With a lockout, all you need is stock springs.
  2. Wiseco forged pistons are top notch.
  3. Top notch guy to deal with for sure. I deal with him on a regular basis and he is a pleasure to do business with.
  4. PM sent
  5. Yo Matt. Let's go climbing da fuck. Big hills butt!

  6. Recently did some business with corey. Very nice guy that isn't looking to screw anybody over. Buy with confidence, sell with confidence.
  7. Bump... filters and outerwears still available.
  8. What kind of power are these cylinders putting out?
  9. Nope, doesn't matter. When I ran the VF2's I ran them with the words facing up from the bottom. Doesn't matter though. Guys switch the cage up and down every once in awhile too to wear the reeds evenly and get more life.
  10. PM sent to you hawke, they are still available
  11. I sold Cody some parts as well. He paid quick and was very easy to communicate with through the transaction. A pleasure to work with on the deal. I would tell anybody on this site to deal with him. He's a stand up fella. Good luck with your bike Cody, and thanks! Tony
  12. I think I'll just go with the regular gear then. I want it done right though, so it's getting sent out. Who does the best work on these?
  13. Bump... somebody needs these.
  14. That's the opinion I am looking for. Basically it won't warrant it because chances are, I had a shitty gear from the start, or had something happen that usually doesn't under the conditions I used it in. We basically ride them like you do... launch hard in one gear, and either ride that gear out or shift on the fly up the hill into 3rd, etc.
  15. I'm not sure right now Tyler... it's a 421 cub, 115 longrod 4mil. CPI's jetted very damn close with 35mm PWK's on 50/50 pump/race. 23cc domes 165 PSI. Will be fully drag ported in the spring. I'd say 100 give or take?
  16. I am wondering if doing a billet gear change on a duneable 1-5 N Down will be worth it? I blew out my second gear over the weekend. Second gear is the bread and butter, gets alot of use. I hillclimb and run it hard. Usually start in it, shift out of it, and then end up back in it. There are some guys around here that ride them harder than me, yet don't have problems with the regular 2nd or 3rd gears. I know a guy running one for 5-6 years and puts a hurtin' on his, and it never gave out yet. Maybe I got unlucky? But how much stronger are the billet 2nd gears than the standard cut 2nd gears in the over ride? Will it justify the load of money it would cost to upgrade to the billet second gear over just replacing the gear I have now with the same one? Wondering if it's worth throwing that kinda money into this gear... or just try to replace it to the way it was, hoping it was just a weak link? We shift them under a load without the clutch from 2nd to 3rd. I never backload it, just need it to shift on the fly on the hills. It worked great until it went. Thanks
  17. I have a nice set of K&N pod filters for 33-36mm carbs. These fit 33mm PWK's all the way through the 36mm carbs. I used them on a set of 33mm PWK's and just took them off a set of 35mm PWK's. They come with black outerwears. They are a 10 degree flanged front end. I am asking $50 shipped OBO. I will post pics later. PM if interested! Thanks
  18. I've been thinking of doing the billet... but heard some stories of even them having problems. I am sure they are tougher than the second gear I just destroyed though.
  19. Thanks for the input. Yea, it goes into 4th and 5th. I had to ride it home. Took it easy of course, but it goes into 3rd, 4th and 5th. Everything shifts good still, 2nd is just nothing. It doesn't move. I talked with a few guys about this so far and they all agree second is very weak on these trannys in conjunction with big motors. I am running a 421 cub. I am hoping the tranny can be fixed, if it is indeed second gear broke. I assume it can.
  20. I have a 1-5 duneable over ride tranny. Ran great without a problem for 2 seasons... 80 gallons of gas burnt on it. Not a ton of time. I never backloaded it, and only shifted it under a load when I needed to on te really big hills around here from 2nd to 3rd. I took care of it, and babied it most of the time. Anyways, 2nd gear decided to let loose. It shifts fine into 1st, and goes into 2nd, but it just revs and doesn't move. 3rd gear is fine. All other gears are fine, but 2nd just revs and isn't there. It goes in and out of all gears fine. I will be ripping it open soon to see what happened, but I am curious as to what could have happened? I don't think it was the shift forks as it shifts in and out of gears smooth as butter still. But second gear doesn't engage, just revs. All other gears run and are good. Only real way to find out is to rip it open of course, but I'm just curious ahead of time what some of you might think here. I am also curious as to how ecpensive of a fix this will end up being, if 2nd gear is toast. I got the over ride from Kevin Herr at HJR, I assume WCR cut it. Not sure. Just curious if anybody had this problem before I rip into it...
