I was having problems getting the clutch to fully disengage when warm. I have adjusted several times and should be right. I finally bought new cable and lever. It disengages fine now only slight drag and can only tell if ya give a lil rev with it pulled in. I am running a 50W synthetic gear oil. Seems to work better then most I have tried. Shift star ?? Where is it and how much to grind ?? LOL

Nuetral is very easy to get while cold. But after you get her good and warmed up it is a bitch to find. Anyone ever had this happen ????

Was wondering if they were the dark or light blue. And if there was a big diff from factory color. ??? Also do you take Pay-Pal ??

Oh yeah he is fine... Jumped right up --- not bad for 7 years old !!!! He went to down shift to first on a steep hill he couldnt pull in second. And on a Raptor 80 if you hold the shifter either up or down its like being in nuetral. So he let it rev then let his foot off shifter and pop straight flipped her LOL

Installed new fac clutch lever and cable. Made a world of difference. So much easier to pull. And dont seem to drag anymore. I got 2 questions though #1 It's still is a b!tch sometimes trying to get nuetral. Any ideas ?? #2 Also changed my oil and this time I ran a synthetic 50W that we use in the tranny's at work. (med -heavy trucks) What do you guys think ???

I never buy without Pay-Pal ! But after talking to him I could tell he was legit. Next day after recieving my money order he had axle in mail WITH a tracking # !!!!! Should be here in couple days but I have no worries about the condition or anything like that. Very upstanding guy and a breeze to deal with!!!!!! THANKS again.. :yes:

02 banshee,fmf fatty's,boyesen reeds,kn filter with outerwear,Pro design cool head 20cc domes,DG nerfs,rear razors about 50% on douglas reds,front maxis pro about 90% on douglas reds, oh yeah dont forget the boost bottle LOL not the cleanest but alot of potential. But I have been accused of being to particular. lol I do most of my riding with my 7 year old on his 80 raptor. And the shee is WAY to mean for that. Was thinking of getting more of a high speed trail bike. No dangers of running the 400 on pump gas ?????

Planning on getting a good used fac lever and cable first then seeing from there. No one has ever had there pressure plate release cocked like this ???????

Been trying to get this clutch right for a week now. When I had it apart to adjust it I didnt notice any grooves in basket. The clutches are suppose to be new. The guy I got it from just had in a shop to have them replaced. I did notice that when you pull the clutch the pressure plate comes outward unevenly. Also the clutch lever is pretty stiff. (he claims it always has been and he lubed it real good one time and it eased up) .. Now that I adjusted it drops in gear ok when cold but when you get to riding and heat it up it starts to drag pretty bad. Wont even stay running after warm when in gear. Clutch lever seems to stiffen also. I have seen some on ebay with the grooves in the basket but mine had none. Just wanting to spend as little as possible cause when I get it right it is sold and the more I put in the more I will have to get back out LOL THANKS

Dont see any noticable grooves in basket. As long as I am looking in right spot.LOL Can it be seen without dissasembly of basket ??? Like were you can see the discs stacked ??? Also is the uneven pull of the pressure plate common ??????
