  1. What A arms are you using? If your going to use stock arms with a plate type widening kit that might work out ok. I would rather use 450 arms and shox, make the shox stiff then add your anti-roll bar and you got a cheep and decent flat track front end. Another option is to get some long travel +2 or +3 arms and then use the 450 length shox.

  10. The first generation the auxiliary boost ports and auxiliary exhaust ports were small also, on your intake do you have six ports with three large and three smaller or just three very tall ones? Just a pic of all the ports would be helpful. heres a couple of pics of my t-rex cylinders for you to look at.
  11. Ill take some more pics next week when I get other identical t-rex block get back from the machinest.
  12. Because it looks nothing like a Banshee and i built it for my Girl friend.
  13. this blaster frame is 13inchs longer and 2inchs wider then a stock banshee so it will handle the engine better then a blaster. So what sort of power could I get out of this engine with a goodport job and a good ignition? Cheers. Paul
  14. here is a couple of pics, a close up of the pison and a fuzzy shot of the carby side of the barrels.
  15. I'm not sure what generation t-Rex it is. How can I tell them apart? Cheers, Paul
  16. Sorry about putting 421. It's been bored out 1mm. And the only domes I can find for a t-Rex engine are 8 10 and 12cc it's coz they use flat top pistons not domed top like everything else.
  17. Hey every 1, Im just intrested to know a ruff HP figure for my Banshee engine in my Blasters frame *421cc T-REX - no port work *10cc domes *69mm pistons *+4mm stroker crank *VForce 3 reeds *+8 degrees advanced timing - stock CDI *39mm carbys - 170 mains *SCP out of frame Drag pipes *14 - 43 gearing *VP 110 fuel I have no idea what its making so any guess would be good, untill I can actually find someone willing to dyno a quad. I have a few pics of the bike uploaded on this site in the Images section http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...15&start=15

  20. Hey every 1 my name is Paul, Im from South Australia and ATV's are all pritty new to me, ive owned my Banshee for a few months and have done a few mods to it but im unsure what jetting i should be running in the carbys, when i bought the bike the previous owner had a local yamah shop tune it but they had 1 of the primary scres out 1 turn and the other out 2 and it cut out when it went on 2 wheels?? i dont trust them at all..... the engine mods are. No air box lid 2 stage uni filters v force reeds Vortex X10 cdi ignition controler stock engine internals Bills pipes I was thinking about rebuilding the engine with forged pistons and shaving a bit off the head to up the compression a little, how much should i get taken off? So if any one on here could give me a good idea or what size primary and secondary jets I should be running that would be great. and if you know any other engine mods just let me know and ill look in to it, know 1 here stocks much for atvs so i have to get it all off ebay or other states. thank you, Paul
