Dont be mad son.. I too had thought this was a "crazy" idea... Some may say even insane..
But I took a dremel to my stock yfz shock to remove the bottle and worked like a charm...
If you cut it correctly , you don't even. Need to let the gas out of the shock. It will leak out on its own..
After it was off I ground it smooth and J B welded the cut. I now run the shock without a rezzy, and I swear it rides better...
Just be careful because Alumnium throws shards, it doesn't spark. So be sure to wear your safty goggles.
