Yeah I have had bad luck with 4 wheelers. First my Raptor was stolen . Then My Banshee burnt. Im hoping this next 4 wheeler will last . If it doesnt Im throwing in the towel. I dont want to buy the 4 wheeler back. SO If anyone is near Texas and Feels like they might want it. I will Let you buy it from my Insurance. Holla at me if you want it.

I have had a 2001 raptor before. I liked it alot, but it was stolen 7 months after having it.

Plus Im ready for a electric start and Reverse.

They are talking about Blue Book on my Bike. Some where in between $2100 And $2800. But I have a $500 Dec. SO I can see Progressive tring to give me something like $1800. I have a friend with a Raptor for sale. His wife left him and he has been selling everything cheap. SO I might get it.

I have full coverage threw progressive insurance. So I hope I get enough to buy another 4 wheeler.

I was riding at a local spot Ive know all my life. Well I was going threw the trails then I noticed my leg getting hotter than it should. So I jump'd off and looked at my leg. And there was nothing. I then looked up and Seen my bike on fire. I didnt know what to do. There wasnt any water so I started throwing Dirt, rocks, leaves, hell anything I could pick up. I just rebuilt the bike and it was the 3rd time to go out since the motor was broke in. Yes I have FUll covarage insurance. But Im not sure if they will total my bike or fix it. What do you think? Im Sad because this was my 1st Banshee and God was I Impressed with how they handle and the Power. But I think IM going to move on to another 4 stroke.

I just did this same project 2 weeks ago. Make sure you use Tap Oil. If not you will break the Tap bit off in the hole. Trust me. I know. I broke it off in the carb. But I have tools and got it out. Its a Easy job.

You just have to put it on right. Here is the kit on my Shee.

I have that kit on my Shee. You will need a Heat Gun in Order to make the 3M to stick correctly on the plastic's. Oh and you will need another person to help you when installing the seat cover. For some reason the seat cover was cut a little short from the factory. But after you get it on and put a little body weight on the seat everything will fit right.

Problem fixed. Took the Lid off the air box. Banshee runs fine now.

Yes I have stock pipes and the carbs are sync. I have about 6 heat cycles on the motor. Each time the motor was ran I rode them bike . The motor has only ran good 1 time at 100%. Its breaking up at 1/2 throttle.

01 Banshee Boost Bottle Twist throttle Fresh Rebuilt 20 over Top end with 6 heat cycles on it Fresh Rebuilt Carbs I just got my bike back together and to idle. I noticed I could hear air and couldnt fine where it was coming from for about 2 hours. The bike was running fine and could idle fine. But when I went to ride the bike to put it under load it would break up and 1/2 throttle. Well I found the air leak. It was the tube that goes from carb to carb. After I put the hose back on I gave it a test run. The Bike came alive and ran really really good. So I parked the bike and let it cool down. Put a fresh set of plugs in. Did another test run and there was the Breaking up again. I have checked my wires, stator, flywheel, and plugs. I dont think the jets are wrong because I replaced them with a Factory rebuild kit. Really dont know what to do at this point. Any tips or info would help me out alot.

How many quarts of gear oil do I need? Which brand is been known to be the best?

Ok here is my last question. I got my top in gasket kit with my wiseco pistons. In the gasket kit There are some O rings. Im not too sure where they go. I know where the rest of the gaskets go.

Well the person that bored my cylinders also set the rings for me. I wasnt sure on any of it. This is my first time tearing down a 2 stroke motor. I mean. I work on Honda / Acura motors all day long. But I know they are different from a motorcycle or atv motor. So Thats why Im asking all these questions.

Is there anything special I need to do to the rings while sliding them into the Cylinder? And when I start the bike the first time what do I need to listen for/Look for if there is a problem?

Is there a torque sequence on the cylinders bolts?
