i just rode it and DAM +7 timing is very hard pulling on the topend.... i definetly will change gears from 14 to 15 beacause it hauls ass and spins spins spins...... def cub is the way to go (rip your arms off on the big end) thanks everyone replies i love this set up... im thinking adding a little more timing.....

i wanna beat them bad hahahahha (overkill) ya i did it because i got a really good deal on this set-up i talked to vitos they said they widen the bore a little not really ported high or low.......... im going to ride it this weekend and if im not to happy ill port my stock jugs and sell the cub/carbs keep the head....

thanks for the replys ill play with the timing ,i just wanna make sure ill beat all the 4 strokes at the place we go ride i usually have but i could of used more topend so this cub will def have that........

yes the cylinders where very mimld port clean up by vito when my friend bought the comb.... he sold it to me at a very good price he is building a 10 mill.... i will try the advanced timing he said at 9-10+ you can only run it for short drags and let it cool down.... so i am going to try +7 we race usually on loose dirt about 500-800 ft... so hopefully this combo will come on strong on the topend... he said if i put the fmf fattys on it ill loose 10-12hp over the sheares...... the bike feels great but very doggy until have throttle..... but definatly its a to end monster hahahah ALSO will lighten flywheel help any thing?????

i just installed a new cheetah cub 68 mm ,vito hemi head, vf3,35 air strikers,shear in frame pipes, today the bike definatly lost low end?? i no problaly the pipes?? runs real strong the guy i bought the combo from dynoed it at 82hp..... my question is what will give me more low end power?? i had fmffattys on it and shaved head and was reall torquee.... also i uped my timing around +7 tonight i have ridden since it was +4 thanks ,,,, do you guys think it was a good combo, i mostly race in dirt and trail ride thanks again im very new with the banshees and the site is AWSOME.............

im selling my stock .20 over jugs with very mild port work done 6 months ago with weisco pro-lite pistons... Also im selling my shaved head (very nice for stock head)............ motor has 175 compression both cyls and are in excellent shape............. i just bought a cub setup,with head, and new carbs so i dont need the stock stuff anymore..... the bike runs extrmely good with the shave head and piston............ please make offer for everything or ill seperate????? also ill sell my stock 26 carbs with open filters ................. Everything works excellent still on the bike... just need a little extra cash for the new set-up

Im selling my fmf fatties and Q series silencers the pipes are 7 months old and the silincers are 3 months old VERY VERY nice quality no rust or dents at all selling for 300.00$$$ plus 40.00$$ for shipping these pipes work excellent imo im sellin because i bought a new cub setup wih shearers........ please email me for pics [email protected] the silncers wher like 285.00 alone plus the headpipes.................

im thinking about timing also it seemed like the +7 hit the tires harder than +4 did??? i think ill try the 14/41 with the 22 pro wedges and maybe the timing back to +4?????? it hooked up good with 14/41 20in razr 2s it just spun alittle so im going to try a 22 pro wedge...im hoping taller tire maybe less spin....but i dont want to bog

i have my 01 banshee and last week was racing some yfz450s i have 20 in tires and advanced timing from 4 to 7 and it seemed like it spun tires worse switching to more advance??? also it has a 15/41 i just ordered some pro wedge 22 for this weekend (so should i leave the 15/41 and plus 7 or lower the timing to+4 and install my 14 tooth because im thinkin the taller 22 tire would act like a 15 tooth????? my mods are fmf fatties,open pods,shaved head,tors removed,timing plate, i was on razzr 2 tires 20 inch last weekend im racing on loose to hard packed dirt drag strip........... please any info im new to banshees thanks greg

i just installed a tusk very nice quality for the price... i have minor mods........

i just recently went through 3 of them the second one would not spark out of the box.... so i sent it back and they said well its bad sorry we will send a new one .i recieved the 3rd one and it looks bigger and better qualty??? i dont no so i installed it and the past 2 weeks so far so good???
