  3. i noticed that when my handle bars are straight my left front tire is pointed out . it's nothing drastic but noticable. my steering stem doesn't appear to be bent. is there a way to adjut it through the tie rod ends? any input and advice would be appreciated. thanks.

  6. just pulled the plug . no need to do a plug chop .it was def. black and wet.
  7. my brothers blaster just got bored .40 over and it has a k&n filter with no lid, dg pipe and silencer. it has a 190 in it i believe. stock pilot and needle ( thrid clip ). he started to ride it during break in and it bogged alittle bit. so we parked it and pulled the plug. it was wet and black. any ideas on what size jet to start with? i have asked other site but no answer. thanks for any help you may have.
  8. i know this has prob. been covered. i couldn't find it . i just got a barnett clutch. it came with 2 bags of springs. 1 heavy duty and the other was not labeled. are these the oem ?? going to install it on tues. don't want to screw it up. thanks for the help.
  9. i installed the new timing plate friday and went riding yesterday. great improvement . revs better, smother power through out the powerband in every gear. had a warrior with a fmf muffler think he could beat me. just riding around a field . let him get ahead and smoked him. crazy 4 pokes. when will they learn??
  10. thanks for all of the help. i went riding today adn the +4 made a noticable diff. not seat of the pants but better throtlle response, reved better and made great power all the way through the power band.
  11. the motor is still in the bike. i'm going to get a strap wrench in a few min. and double check it.
  12. i just installed my case saver and adj. timing plate set at +4. i put the flywheel nut back on with the impact ( low torque gun) and it threaded on what appears to be all of the way(same amount of threads before i removed it). is this correct or did i just screw up?? i'm kinda new to the banshee and don't want to screw it up.. thanks for any help you may have .

  14. i'm going to install my adj. timimg plate in the morning. when i use the impact , will i have to use something to hold the flywheel so it doesn't move? or just put it in gear and let the impact do it's job?? thanks for any input.
  15. sounds like yor jetting is off a bit. i would also check yor compression just to be on the safe side.
  16. YES that is the choke tube. if it is not installed your banshee may run rough.

  18. thats true. between the ups man and the fed ex. they have been here so much lately they call me by my first name. i'm running 93 octane now. should i do 50/50 or 75 % 93 octane and 25% 110 ?? it's been bored .20 , reeds and reed cages, K&N pods, fmf's , jetted. i also use klotz super techniplate
  19. well my adj. timing plate , billet impeller, case saver and flywheel tool came today. while i'm at it i'm going to replace the clutch . new front tires should be here later in the week. i'll let everyone knowhow the install goes and how it runs.

  21. what oil would be the best to soak the new clutch plates in ? going to install my new clutch later in the week.
  22. i have the clutch cover gasket.i have a new beefier clutch i'm going to put in. i need to get a gasket / seal for the impeller cover? sorry if i seem stupid. i'm kinda new to the banshee .
  23. just bought a timing plate . going to run at +4 , and a water impeller. anything i need to know when i go to install? i bought the repair manual and the flywheel puller. thanks.

  25. hey guys. i did a search and didn't really find anything. if i advance the timing by 4 degrees, will i have to run a higher octane fuel? thinking about buying a timing plate.
