i think some of you guys are brainwashed with these stories of "killing" craptors, honestly.. they are not slow, hell they shouldnt be with that kidn of displacement, but either way, they arnt slow,... top heavy, yes, lack of top end power, yes, but definatly not as slow as alot of you are making them out to be, i rode with a kid yesterday who had a brand new one, only a few months old, we were dead even through the gears, i had a TINY bit more on the top end and would start to slowley pull past him, but nothing to brag about, although he told me he weighs 150 pounds(from the look of him maybe if he was soaking wet with a pocket full of chnage he was 150, but id say more liek 140 i bet),either way... i weigh bout 240 pounds, so i have about 100 pounds on him, i got 100 psi left in my topend and a set of t5's/k&n, , he was bone stock, and we were neck and neck till 6th gear and then i would walk slowley away... that says alot for a banshee to be carying an extra 100 pounds, have a top end with not much compression left and still run with the biggest bore, efi sport quad out there, but that also says the raptor aint slow.. by any means, ..now another guy i ride wiith had a piped 700, and we are about the same weight and i can walk away from his definatley, but not like you guys are describing, "killing at half throttle in 5th gear". sorry , unless you are ported or stroked or something, no way your thumb was all the way down buddy hahah... ill definatley agree though, with equal weight riders, both being just piped, the banshee definatley has an edge past 3rd gear, the craptor falls on its face in the top end.. but cmon guys no reason to bash the craptor....hell one day when i have the money id love to own a craptor or 450 as a second quad
