I just missed those ones. I think you got a pretty decent deal. They are still argueing over there too I think. Here's some pics I found. You can see the differences.
-
Are you in Decatur? I work over there all the time. Not at Cat but everywhere else.

I've read where a few people have said that they are the same as and or made by Shearer for Vito's. They aren't exactly the same as the Shearers from what I can tell in the pics I have seen. It looks to me like the Shearers come out of the cylinders and turn up. The Vito's come out and turn toward the outside then turnup. Other than that they look very similar. The mounting flanges look to be the same. Tha silencers are different. I've heard where they are supposed to run best at and read Vito's web page about them. I was hoping that as long as they had been around someone had done some testing with them. I'm doing the same with my bike that just about everybody else does. I play ride it. Love to drag race it. It gets ran on the trail sometimes bet mostly in the loose stuff. I want to get the most out of my 4mill just like everybody else. Jim at Passion told me to put CPIs on it. I almost bought a set but I don't like the lack of plug access they have. I was looking for a set of Shearers but those are expensive. I picked these up for less than 300 so I figured I'd give them a try.

I aint gonna yell at ya I don't give a shit. I would think those are better carbs. I just picked up a set of 35 A/S last week. I guess it would depend what you are planning to do with the bike in the future. I can't imagine a lot of gain with the stock port. Depends on what kind of cash you want to spend. I'm always in the mindset that if I'm going to buy something like that buy it to last a while. If you think you will be upgrading in the near future get something that will work for you planned package and deal with it at the moment. Not everybody thinks like that. If you are planning on trail riding all the time you would want a smaller carb to try and keep a little low end. The T6s are a stock port kinda pipe. Those should work well for you. The VF3s are more of a mid to topend item. They should work well but don't know that they will help on the bottom end if you are trail riding. Most of this is regurgitated stuff that I've been reading. Some of it I think is common sense. If you have been reading like I have you probably knew all this anyway. Hope it helps a little.

Hey Megatron, you're probably going to get yelled at for putting this in the wrong section.
-
Hey what were you using those tires for?

I'm a chiller tech at Johnson Controls. Used to do residential/commercial hvac and plumbing for about 7 years. Worked on cars for 8 years before that. How many other guys spent money for school and didn't end up doing what they are trained to do?

Saw this old topic and thought I'd try and bring it back up. I just bought a set of these quality preowned. has anyone done any testing with these? Any drag racing, dyno, back to back rides? Anything? Thanks for any input.

Pretty much it. All red with cut fronts. Normal wear and tear. No cracks I can think of. Some scratches hear and there. Rolled it once so it has some scuffing but looks good overall. No white or stress marks. Also have a stainless grill insert with the radiator cover. Pro Circuit pipes and silencers. Good shape ready to go. Would like to swap all of this for a nice set of Fullbores. Bike is red and grey so I need a color that will go with that. Plastic is not for sale by itself and will not be split up. If it goes I need something to replace it with. Pipes are for sale though. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

Just bought a set of pipes, these need to go. Somebody make an offer. I've thought about swapping these and my plastic for a set of Fullbores. Any takers?

PM sent. -
I PMed this other guy but haven't heard back. If I can move these Pro Circuits I'd probably be interested. Is he willing to deal at all or is he pretty firm? Is he asphalt dragging? Gonna get some OOF?
-
I think I replied to his add about 3-4 days ago but didn't get any response. He was asking 450.00 if I remember right. I think I have 350.00 at the moment and these pipes. I've got another guy on here who has a set that he said he would sell me for 350.00. But I think I'm waiting for him to sell some other stuff first. Unless something else comes up.
-
None of you drag guys are wanting OOF and want to sell your inframes? Somebody has some of these laying around that there old lady is yelling at them to get rid of. Have her call me.
-
Sent you a pm. Sorry not interested in DG pipes. I need something that will work good with my stroker.
-
Ya like Rob and Big's Pinto. Oh yeah and your bike too. Sorry for the interruption in the for sale. Bump for ya.

It sounds like if there were more of you out there I wouldn't have to call so many of your age group dumbass kids. That's all part of it though. Go out lay some pipe in anything you can and get trashed more than you need to. Just don't get caught. I'm not really that old (I don't think) but I'd still like to go back to your age again and do some things. I wouldn't stress out about retirement and that stuff to much yet. Have a good time, party, and all tha crap. Once you are 21 it won't be all that much fun. when it's legal it just doesn't have the flair. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders good luck to you. Sorry to be off topic too. I thought that needed a reply. What's up with the Michael Jackson thing anyway? I'm kinda new sorry. Why not Mickey Mouse or Superman? That just says Me First! Me First! I'm assuming that's the reaction you are going for?

Sent a pm.

2002 banshee blacked out MTV says it's cooler to say Murdered Out! I like that look. Nothing to polish. Good luck.

If you decide you want to sell the entire set not just the pipes let me know.

Still looking!

And an '03 Kenne Bell Cobra...WOW. I would do anything for that car...damn I hate being 19 and in college, I don't have the money like you guys do. The game thing will wear off pretty shortly for me. I've already dropped off quite a bit. I traded in most of the PS2 stuff I had when I got this thing. Picked up about 6-7 games for it. I've only played 3 of them. I'm a member of a Mustang site out of St. Louis and it seems the guys your age are the ones with the cars like that. I just bought a cat back from a 03 Cobra from a guy that was 20 I think. He was in college, working part time for a landscaping company and living in a dorm. It was his second vehicle. I was lucky to have a first vehicle in trade school and it was a pos. I think it depends a lot on your lifestyle. You can have a 90,000 a year job but with a 1500.00 house payment and all the other crap that goes with it you just don't end up feeling that loaded. I'm sure most of us "guys with money" on here can relate.
-
No problem. I just picked up a PS3 for Christmas. I've been shooting people on line. That's pretty damn cool. If you haven't played in 6 years you need to check it out. A bunch of us have been getting together and blowing shit up. It's a good time. Nice stress relief. I don't really think of myself as Ford guy. Used to have Chevys, then a Dodge, then the first Mustang. 8 later and a Turbo Coupe and still don't think I'm really a Ford guy. I think they are all junk. If they weren't they wouldn't make wrenches to fit them all.
