  1. Yeah it is the left side.
  2. I melted a hole in my piston while running up china wall in Glamis (one of the biggest and steepest sand hills if your not familiar). I made it 10 feet from top and it let go. This is only the senond trip I have had on it since new rebuild(bottom and top end). My mods are in sig. Running +4 ignition with 110 race gas mixed at 40:1. Jetting seems to be right based on other side at 162 main and 1 clip leaner. I sprayed the whole motor down with carb cleaner while it was running to check for leaks right before this ride. Also the temp had been running at about 190 all day. I checked the carb and the jet was clean. I also pulled the fuel line right after it happened and it seemd to be flowing just fine. I shouldn't need a dual pingel with just these mods right??? Any Ideas??
  3. Send them to Kevin Herr. I just got mine back and he did an excellent job. Good prices and excellent to deal with. http://www.herrjugsracing.com/index.htm
  4. Is there any place to buy jets and needles for a keihin that has all the sizes listed and can purchase online. I know I could go to the dealer but it is such a pain when I know exactly what I need. Any help would be appreciated. THanks.
  5. I haven't heard to many bad things about UFO and the price is right so I think I will just get that. Thanks
  6. I need to get front and rear fenders in black and would like to get OEM. I found UFO's for $300 shipped. Am I going to be happy with that or should I stick with OEM. And Where is the cheapest place to get them. Thanks.
  7. I got a kit several years ago and the bracket never fit quite right. I think it was a raptor bracket that had to be ground a little. Does this one just bolt right on......
  8. What is the condition and valving on the TCS shock?
  9. I think a coping saw works best. It will allow for good curves. Be Patient and take an electric sander to the edges for fine tuning. Also mark your cuts out first and take measurments to make sure you are symetrical.
  10. So now that I have these Carbs are the Crap, or the same as OKO's.......
  11. I ran Golden Spectro in my CR250 for over 10 years, mixed at 52:1. Never had a failure. I now run full synthetic at 40:1. I have heard that Golden Spectro is not the best, it's not a full synthetic, but it worked for me for many years...... Never fouled a plug either.....
  12. I don't know what size you are looking for, but this guy sold me 2 28 PWK's for 150 shipped. I got them in like a week. I did the best offer for 150 for 2. For the same price as OKOs you can get the real thing...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...s_promot_widget
  13. I was thinking about getting a set of the Full Flight Arms (+2 +1) with either a set of Elka Duner edition shocks with rez ($1100) or maybe a set of TCS shocks. The TCS would be a couple hundred bucks more. Also should I go with the ASR arms over the Full Flight. I like the FF arms because of the heim joints which should do well in the sand. I do almost all my riding in the sand dunes (Glamis). Any other thoughts? Thanks.
  14. I was thinking the 4.0 would be my best bet. I guess I got to be looking for some stock plastic so I can use it. Thanks.
  15. I am in the process of building my banshee and am wondering if I will be needing a larger tank. I was running a 1mm overbore, stock port banshee jetted with FMF pipes. My current build will include a dune port on .25mm overbore, 28PWK's with pod filters, V-force 3's and T5's. I usually would barley hit the reserve on our longest rides, how much worse will my new setup be. Considering either a 4.0 tank or the 5.5. Any help from others with similar mods would help. Thanks.
  16. I saw this PWK 28 on ebay and was thinking about picking up a couple but something seems wrong. The bowl does not have a nut for access to main. I have seen other pwk's with this. Is this a knock-off. Anyways let me know what you think. http:// http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KEIHIN-PWK-...sspagenameZWDVW
  17. Thanks for the info..... Looks like I'll have to get some K&N's......
  18. I am building my banshee right now and ride almost exclusivly in sand dunes(Glamis, CA). I was thinking about going with pod k&n's with outerwears. Will these be too exposed for the sand. Any other ideas..... Thanks.
  19. I just got my banshee and I have a brand new set of rear tires but they are off my old quad(Suzuki). I see Durablue and others making banshee rear hubs with the honda/suzuki pattern. If anyone has a set please let me know. Thanks.....
