  1. Guys, What brand (s) of chain and sprockets do you use for you bikes? Cheapos, aluminum, steel?
  2. A perfect example on why you must ALWAY check the clearances!
  3. 31 here.
  4. Going to pick up a 4mm Cub from FAST at the end of the month. He told me it should make that amount of power.
  5. FAST seems to have a few mods to help with the shifting. Hopefully that will be enough.
  6. It's not a waste, there is no sand here and I want some power! If I need it to hook I'll take it to the 1/8th mile track! I'm building this for fun, I honestly don't care if it's the fastest or prettiest bike! I'll leave that to you guys!
  7. Is a lockup clutch required for a 90hp engine, or would a high quality clutch hold up? The bike is used for gravel roads only.
  8. What do you call a blond with a bag of sugar on her head? sweet fuck all! What do you call a blond with a dollar bill on her head? all you can eat under a buck!
  9. So with the lock up you can not shift at high RPMS?
  10. Does the cylinder not mate to the cases? It's no big deal to have it machined, I'm just curious to what needs to be done. Seems to be a lot of knowledge here.
  11. Thanks for the replies, I have other questions as well. I know you have to clearance the case (4mm) for the stroker crank/rods, I assume I can do this at home with a die grinder? Are there templates available?
  12. I was looking at a Cub with I think its a 72mm bore and a 4mm stroke increase - I wanted to go in the 600cc range but I can't justify the costs. Anyway I stumbled across RDZ site, and was wondering if this company is any good?
  13. Am I the only one running 50:1? LOL!
  14. When are these parts required? They are pretty pricey - are you guys running these? I was looking at the Hinson basket with springs and its like $700.00! At what power level are they necessary?
  15. Pancake bearing? What is that for exactly?
  16. Can you still use your clutch to shift with these or are they just for racing?
  17. Now bwfore I order, I guess I want a mechanical style gauge - not electrical?
  18. I want to hook up an Autometer coolant temp gauge, and I want the light in it to work when I turn on the lights.
  19. What is the voltage output to the lights on a Banshee - is it 12v like a car? I'm wondering because I want to hook up some automotive gauges.
  20. Where do you mount the sensor?
  21. Could someone give me a name of a shop where I could get info/parts on building a 600 or so CC twin. Screw the stocker - Gonna build me a race engine!
  22. We mostly ride gravel roads, some trails as well and the odd sand pit. From what I'm reading on this site it may be best for me to stick with the FMF pipes - I also understand that the pipe must somewhat match the port job for the combo to work properly.
  23. I just traded my Raptor for a Banshee and am in the process of cleaning it up. The Bike has FMF Fatties, MX port job, bored out carbs, Cool head (pump gas) reeds, +4 timing. The pipes are in rough shape and I would like to replace them. To me the bike pulls like a raped ape! - It would smoke my 686 cammed and piped raptor. I'm wondering if the CPI 350 pipes would be a good choice? On their site they claim a good midrange and top end - or should I pick up another set of FMFs? Great site by the way!
