with the price of aftermarket front ends, and the shallow pocket i have regarding that sort of thing (id much rather some jugs over a couple arms know what im sayin' :yelrotflmao: ) i was wondering who here has built there own extended, drop style a-arms. sure, the shocks will be weak for a while untill i get 450 ones but i can live with that i dont do much jumping. anyone have any good plans they can scan for me that include basic jig building? i want them extended 2" and i believe theres a way i can lower the front end in the bottom arms without sacrificing travel too am i right?

im gonna go with something from your coil on down to plugs. i had the same thing happening to me before teardown and when i looked up into the cap from the side missing and not running great it was all buggered up in there. also the wires were fucked. get yourself some new caps and wires and i bet you will be fine. you see, under a hard pull your carbs and engine are just packing the ol' go juice into the cylinders and if there is no SPARK to burn that compressed mixture it begins to lugg and pop (which is the equivalent of your exhaust travelling out of the cylinder into the pipe) do you hear a muffled sound leading into this popping sound at all?

see, i dont think it would be that much of a problem.... its going to have to be extended anyway because of the shock setup a banshee uses.... unless i big time modify the frame (which i may) id LIKE to use a hoosier rear tire thats about 13" wide (major traction, lots of weight in the front end and an easy wheelie with the flat profile of the slick) i am good at drawing things to scale but not soo good at the building aspect. but machine shops are paid to read shit so a well drawn plan of what i want should be easy enough for someone experienced to build. its just the legality issue here up in canada im really concerned about? as a plan towards how im going to go about making such a swingarm, i was just going to use a normal atv wheel & hub (for width) and build the swinger one sided? OR perhaps 2 hubs each with only 2 studs, put 2 nuts on one side of the wheel 2 on the other. so now the question is..... who likes playing with photoshop? make it really low. and as short as thoughtfully possibble IF i modify the frame to move the rear shock. still outlying are the thoughts on legality.... any thoughts people?

Ive seen many pictures of the 3 wheeled supposedley street legal atv's. im wondering if this is allowed in canada? it looks like an interesting project to ruin my off roadin shee with anyway, i mean, it would always be clean and shiny. stil plenty loud and scary fast, and i could ride it around all summer down the main drags for something to do totally confident that im legal! i hear there licenced as a 3 wheeled motorcycle or some sort of shit and you can have a sidecar so why not? i need everyones opinions and views on this as well as ANY links you can find that have to do with building one of these rear ends, licencing, purchase? or even just plain information on them. peace out

So, first post. I used to be on here by the name of something long ago. anyway, anyone elses rear suspension have a bit of a sag to it or is it just worn out? just curious. My bike was recoverd stolen after 3 years and looks not bad and isnt beat hardley that bad either but i can't remember any saggin in her bum.
