  1. the number on top of the piston is 513m06650
  2. I have the following markings on my crank ( H.R. 204 ) and these markings on my rods, they are Hot Rods (C.K. 121 ). Anyone have any idea what they are exactly. By the way Thanks Bansh-eman for all the help.
  3. I have been looking at getting new pistons and I keep seeing for a lond rod or a short rod? How do I tell which one I have. I know this is sounds stupid to most of you but I don't know what to order.
  4. Hey thanks Bansh-eman! Ok here is another little problem. On the bottom of one of my intake ports there is a 1/8 X 1/4 piece of the sleave that is missing. The guy at the machine shop told me it would not hurt any thing because of the location. I feel that it had been this away for a while because my pistons were in great shape with no marring anywhere on them. I was going to resleave it, he told me it would be $210.00 plus the cost of the sleave. Is that outrageously high or what.
  5. When I bought my bike I was told that it had been resleaved and was .100 over standard or 66.5mm. I want to know for sure what size rings I need. My piston measured just over 66mm. When I cleaned up my pistons I could read the marking on top. The very top is marked 6392C In the middle is 513M06650 This is a wiseco piston, anyone have any info for me. As for as what size rings to get? Would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Thanks for the input guts, im fixin to pull the heads off tonight.
  7. Thanks for the comments, will post how everything later.
  8. Well I did a compression check and niether cylinder would go over 75 psi. Left side leaked it down pretty fast but right side leaked down real slow. So do you think all I need is a top end???????????? Pro design cool head My pistons are 66.5m advanced +4 tors are removed parkbreak is removed Any feed back would be great, I am going to go take off the jugs and see what the pistons look like? The bike has never gotten hot at all, so maybe a new top end will fix the problem.
  9. I have not checked compresion yet, I dont have access to a compression gauge. One other thing it has been doing real bad is it has developed a very storg kick back when trying to start it. I will be trying to find a compression guage. Where is the best place to get one?
  10. mix premium with I believe vp110, alt is about 3400'
  11. Went riding two weeks ago banshee ran great, except kept fouling out plugs. Got back home and would not start at all. It is a 97 with 17cc domes +4 advance, stock carbs, no tors, no park break. I went and replaced tha stator and coil, I am getting good spark from both sides, When I pull out the plugs the are wet like it is way too rich. i moved the clip on the needle to the 2nd slot from the top, it was in the third slot. It still seems that there is way too much fuel getting to the cylinders. I even gave it a shot of ether and no luck. Any advice at all will be welcome.
