  1. thanks, i was thinking of going with either a 13 for more low end, or 15 for less spin, how much will this affect my top end/low end. those 450's have alot of low end, but i can catch them on high end!

I run 15-41 gearing and ride alot of trails, It really wont hurt your bottem end and it will be fast on the top. I usta run 13-43 and that sucks banshee tops out about 65-70mph and its a wheele monster. i wood go to a 15-41 gearing and have some fun.

  2. Yes wen you bore you increace the size of thr hole that the piston is in, also you have to get bigger pistons. To port you make the holes in the cylender (the ports) larger and diffrent shapes, It depends on what kinda power you want to make. Polishing is not needed on the intake and some times a ruff port can help (I have no clue why but it dos). a bore will not gane you power but a port job will be night and day.

  3. Don't get Thor Quadrants. They are very stiff and thick at the toe which makes it hard to shift.

I have the Quadrants by thor and i really like them, Thay are stiff at first but thay will get softer.

  5. I am upgrading my 'shee from just having pipes as a mod to having VForce 3s, 1/2 inch reed spacers, and a new head with 19cc domes. Should I put the next bigger jet in or what size should I install? I have a 33mm Kiehin single carb kit.

I wood bring the main up one becuse you have that single carb and you dont want to leen that out. bring your main up a size or to then do a plug check, play with the neadle a little. good luck.

  6. Honestly the best thing, is to just go out there and try it. If you like it then lower it and sway bar, all that good stuff. Almost all racing requires Nerfs and a deadman get that, try it.

Do i have to have nerf bars? I no longer one any so i wood have to get some.

I really want to try it, it looks like a lot of fun.

  7. So I got the 'shee out for the first time of the year. I cleaned the carbs all through. Also cleaned and checked the reeds. New gas and oil. It seems to be running very rich at the bottom end. I messed with the air screws a bit which gave no help. Then drank a bunch of beer which didn't help either. When I get it to idle, pulling the choke out kills it instantly. Actually the choke will kill it up to about 1/4 throttle. I have ran with the same pilot jets for ever which are stock. Size 25 I think. Could these be the problem all of a sudden??? I have also switched carbs with another banshee with the same jet size and got the same result. I have a tors elim. kit on, running FMF Fattys, and K&N filter in the air box w/no lid. Needle is two up from the bottom. 'shee is pissing me off! :banghead: Any help or ideas would be appreciated...

if its rich on the bottom end then you need smaller pilot jets.

  8. I just sold a set of Rear itp sandstars on egay. They sold for 80 and I asked for 30 for shipping. Big mistake!!!! It cost me 65 to ship two fucking tires without rims to TEXAS!!!!! So it would of been cheaper for me to keep them. Man did that ruin my day!!

Um dude, I got fore tires and rims from sheerips and i think shipping was like $75.00
