Ive got a craftsman buffer with different wheels on both sides, for two different kinds of compounds, set up on a heavy stand. That way I dont have to switch wheels all the time. For aluminum youll need tripoli and white rouge compounds. I get all my polishing stuff from eastwood.com theyve got about all you need. One thing I do know is that polishing takes alot of power so if your deciding between two buffers, get the one with more power, youll be glad you did.
