  1. This is true.... you can get 2 RS flywheels for the cost of 1 OEM unit. I have a RS flywheel on my drag bike, and never had a problem with the flywheel itsself. Came off once, but that wasnt the flywheels fault. Some people really bash RS, but Ive neve had a prob.

  5. Dude do not use a 2 jaw puller. You will jack that flywheel up. Get a good puller or plan on getting a flywheel.
  6. So I wouldnt gain any performane going to the lectrons? I dont mind tuning my PWKs, they are jetting pretty damn close now, I just adjust with the power jets. If Im not going to gain power, Im not gonna mess with switching. Ive have just heard that the lectrons are a good gain in power for drag bikes.

  9. What size lectron carb would you recommend for my 10mil motor Dave? I run a pump, and we race at 8500 feet. I have a guy that will trade my 39s for a set of 38 lectrons. Should I do it?

  11. Need to get clear out a little clutter in the garage and could use a little xtra $$ to finish up my wifes bike... For sale is..   12. Man, I am still thinking its in the tranny... Symptoms sound very similar to my wifes bike, and its second gear was exploded.
  13. Those will work well together. The pump will run quite a bit on a small gallon tank, but it will get the job done. That tank will still run at 90psi, so it will run that impact well. We use a little 1 gallon compressor in the dunes and can run an impact with it.

  15. Do you have a clymer manual? If so, take the clutch apart, all the way from the outer hub till you hit the engine case.... Take it all off, and make sure you have everything in there that the clymer shows. That will eleminate if you were missing a part. Are the clutch fibers melted, or the steels black from heat? I cant figure out of the clutch is slipping so the bike wont move, then dying or if something is bound up. Just check, double check and triple check all the clutch parts to see if something is messed up there. Then, put it back toether, make sure the clutch is releasing all they way when the handle is out and see what it does. Its a pain, but man, I am kinda stumped.

  17. The coolant didnt cause the reving problem, just the grey oil. Check the tube that goes into the top of the clutch cover, of the o-ring is bad it will leak coolant in the case. I am still leaning towards a tranny problem for the other deal you are having.
  18. Thanks for the info fouled out... I never asked any questions about it, I just ran the pipes for a year, so the dent didnt bother me, but I did not know it was suppose to be there... Here are the pics. Like I said, these are not pretty pipes, but I think they are worth $130 shipped.

  20. Couple things.... will it shift through all the gears just sitting there not running? If not, you could have a tranny problem. Also, you said the oil turned grey, you have a leak and coolant is getting in the oil. Coolant getting in the oil makes it grey colored.

  22. Replace your inner and outer hubs. My 4mil did the same thing, the hubs didnt look bad but they were wore out. Give Jeff a shout, he has the hibs at a good price.
  23. You said it died and wont start now? If thats the case you prolly burned it down. Plugs melting is usually a sign of a lean condition, hope you didnt burn a piston. Were you checking your plugs after every run? Did you check them at all when you were running?
  24. coolhead, adjustable timing plate, and some pod filters would be easy and inexpensive. Forget the boost bottle, they are a gimic, and dont do anything.
