  4. If you dune and drag in the dunes and are getting bigger carbs, I would get some CPI pipes. They pull nice!
  5. If you use brake cleen make sure you do it where there is plenty of air and dont soak yourself in that stuff. If I breathe it and get it on me I will get flu like symptoms in 24 hours. I thought I was gonna die last time, threw up all night and had a terrible fever. Just be careful with it.

  10. Not a great pic but it shows you where the shift star is... doesnt take a whole lot to change. Removal of your clutch and all the junk in the clutch case, and then just change it out.
  11. You dont need anything that fancy to dismount stuff. I use a home made pile of shit and two little tiny car springs to put the tire on the wheel. I have yet to find something I can mount either. Kinda seems like a waste of $$ to me, mine couldnt have cost more the 5 bucks in scrap metal.
  12. Scooter, I will tell you where to look... Loco sells the best swingers around IMO. I have a +4 and just ordered a +8 from him.
  13. Alba is a bunch of douches. I messed with them over a set of ball joints for 2 weeks and finally just quit. They are useless. :shoothead:
  14. I like a dremel tool to cut them off. Some guys use a jig saw with a really fine tooth blade, and one guy used a roto zip (I dont know how the hell he went straight, but his look dang good!). And yes, you will get every drop of water on you that touches the tire. Just measure off what you think looks good, and tape it. I like taping because I can go straighter then with a sharpie marker or something similar. Here is a link to some of the cuts people have made... HQ Link
  15. Its more about rotating mass then weight. I know drag guys swear by 8" rims, they say the rotating mass make a big difference.
  16. Nice looking bikes Trex.. Seabass, I sent you a PM.
  17. I dont know but I just checked and it was alloyboltz that I used. Im not at all upset about the kit though, it looks sharp on the bike.
  18. My brother and I started riding when we were 4-5 on a 1983 Suzuki 185. I think that would be the best gift you could get your son is an ATV. Ive heard the polaris 90 is a good kids bike!
  19. ROFLMFAO.... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  20. Yeah, I was one of the lucky ones that got a set that didnt fit for shit and that the chrome chipped off of in like 1 minute. :: :: ::
  21. It may vary, but that on is right at 7/8's of an inch/
  22. You may have to make a shim to make them fit. Here is how mine is shimmed in the front...
  23. I would get a locker. They are like 70 bucks and well worth it. Well then a cover that will allow the locker to fit.
  24. cool stuff, thanks for the info. I will have to see how the price is compared to chrome. Thanks
