  1. Anyone have to run the stock needle in the middle position even with pipes, reeds, and intake? I have 310 mains, and 27.5 pilots. At sea level would it be way out of the question to run the 3rd clip? Or would it make more sense to run the 4th with the stock 25 pilots? I have 310 mains, 27.5 pilots and 4th clip right now and it is a little sluggish. What would be the best move to make when experimenting with the jetting, move the pilot or needle? It comes into the powerband a little "blurby".
  2. I just put some of these on my banshee front and rear. The hook up is unreal! I have ran holeshot mx's, razrs, stock tires and everything else. Nothing compares.... they are 6 ply and light as hell too! Just some info for any people looking for some good rubber for there bike.
  3. I just installed pipes, noss head and reeds. I would like some more timing, how hard is the mod and what does it consist of? Thanks
  4. I am running 310 mains, 4th clip stock needle, 27.5 pilots. My mods are trinity stage 4 pipes, noss 18cc head, V3 reeds, k+n/pro flow with no lid? I run at sea level with temps in the 60's and 70's. The bike seems to run good but just a little sluggish in between gears, and when coming into the powerband. It seems to lack the snap that I can remember on other banshees. It starts and idles great, doesn't break up, pop, or smoke excessive. I run turbo blue 112 octane with klotz R50 @ 40:1. The plugs are really clean looking with just a little amber tint to them. Also, my bike is brand new ( 1 hour on it). Do I need to let the bike fully break in before getting a good indication on jetting? Thanks fellas!
  5. Me and my brother have identically modded banshees. My is brand new with only an hour on the motor, his has about 50 hours. We both have Noss heads with 18cc domes, V3's, k+n/pro-flow. The only difference is he has T6 pipes with the airbox lid on, and has the needle in the middle with 25 pilots. I have trinity's with no lid, needle 4th clip, and 27.5 pilots. His bike is MUCH more responsive and feel more powerful through out the powerband. His T6 bike hits way harder and just runs stronger. Could this be the pipes or the fact that his is jetted leaner and has the lid on the airbox? I ride mostly in the low and mid part of the powerband and love the way his feels. Are the T6's just a better pipe?
  6. I will post some when I get them
  7. I finally got them on there!. I had my brother help me apply some force and it finally went on. The pipe fits so tight to the port that you literally almost need to hit the pipe onto the port otherwise it will only go half way. They sound awesome and look just as good on my 06 black special edition:)
  8. I am installing as we speak trinity pipes on a brand new banshee and the right pipe won't fully slide up over the exhaust port? It seems to be just slightly off somewhere which is not allowing the me to get the pipe angled right to slide it over the port. The left side fits good. Is this common? What should I do...
  9. Thanks for the info. I just ordered the Trinity pipes, Noss head 18cc domes, delta v3 reeds, K+N filter with pro flow kit, ITP Trac Star tires on douglass wheels, and renthal Fat Bars with the Trail Tech clamp. This is all going on an 06 special edition black banshee. I ordered all these parts and haven't even picked it up from the dealer yet
  10. I can't see how the pipes will "suck"?? I mean they are stainless and have been known to fit well. The nice part is I will install them and ride them and compare them to my brothers banshee which is modded the exact same way except for t6's and see the difference, if I don't like them within 30 days I can send them back to trinity and get a refund.
  11. I am also installing a Noss head 18cc dome, delta V3's, and a pro-flow/k+n intake so I am hoping the added compression and reeds will beef up the low end power a bit.
  12. After going back and forth between pipes for a week now I decided to go with the Trinity's. The reason for my decision is because I have ridden the T6's before and really, really liked the look, sound, and performance of the pipe, BUT it seemed to sign off quicker than I liked and won't work well in the future with porting etc. From what I have researched the trinity's sound sweet, and have a great fit and finish. The stainless steel pipes to me is a huge deal since I am anal about my bike and hate when the chrome gets pitted and rusted etc. I will post up my experiences with the pipes when install them. I paid $629.00 straight from trinity which included pilots, mains, and all hardware. Hopefully I won't regret not getting the Toomey's....... however from what I have read the trinitys make great power and have a unique sound.
  13. I was on the phone with Rocky Mountain and they told me that htey only had the stock offsets??? Maybe I should call back and talk to someone else. The offset you posted would be perfect.
  14. I am ordering new wheels and tires for my banshee and want to make it 1"-2" wider all the way around. Is there a way you can do this with rim offset? Most of the tire packages that I have found only have the stock offsets? Does the 01-05 raptors have a different offset? I have seen raptor rims and tires on banshees and they are a lot wider?
  15. What kind of powerband do the Trinity's give? The T6 seem to have a good low and mid hit, they are very peaky. What are the trinity's like to ride?
  16. I am located in Jacksonville Florida. I will send pics as soon as I pic her up! I am driving 15 hours to TN to buy it. There aren't many banshees left at a good price (new).
  17. How do the Trinity's compare to the T6 pipe for a stock banshee? I have ridden the T6's and Fattys and like the T6 sound and power much better. How does the powerband and overall power increase compare from the Trinity to T6? I really like the stainless steel idea that Trinity uses, but ultimately I am concerned performance. BTW.... The motor won't be ported in the future so I am not worried about a pipe to accomodate porting. THanks, Brendon
  18. I am picking up my new 06 special edition banshee next week and already have some Paddles ordered up for it. I will be selling them never used. The rims are black since they are coming off a special edition. I will sell them for $200, and I will consider any reasonable offer. I can email pics etc as soon as I bring it home. Email me at [email protected] if interested, or call me at 904 234 2207. My name is Brendon. Thanks
