  1. I'M WORKING ON A BUDDY'S BLASTER THAT DOES NOT WANT TO SHIFT ANY MORE.SO I PULLED THE MOTOR SPLIT THE CASE TO INSPECT THE CLUTCH AND GEARS AND SHIFT DRUM, EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE OK. BUT IT WAS GOING TO PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER AND I PUT THE SHIFT STAR ON AND THE LITTLE ARE WITH THE ROLLER ON IT , I WANTED TO SEE IF ANYTHING HAD CHANGED BUT NO IM NOT THAT LUCKY. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME HELP OR HAVE YOU HERD OF SUCH A BIZZAR THING HAPPENING TO THEM??? ::
  2. my little bro just bought a set of t-6 pipes frpom his friend quad and i was wondering if anyone would no what jetting i should have for the main jets and the pillot jets ::
  3. i would check you compressoin befor going though the trouble of breaking down the motor, i would replace the pistons to, not just the rings. hone out the jugs or bore them out to do the job right.and becuase you have and it all apart my as well do it. but anyway if you on a budget and thats what you want that fine by me no problem. drain your all your fluids,take off your front pipes.carbs,fule line, spark plugs, heads, then your jugs,and your there. pull off the old rings put on the new ones make sure there on right !!!!!put on the new gaskets,when putting on the jugs you can squeez the rings with your fingers and slide the jugs on,it might take two people for this part (use a little lubrication oil ),the put on you heads, spark plugs,carbs, make sure the slids in the carbs are all the way down (they go in one way but you can still put it in the wrong way!to check pull off you air filter and look down your air box with a flash light to make sure there all the way down) fule line,put on the pipes,and put oil and antifreez in the banshee. it takes me alitte less than an hour to do it .but if your not mechanically inclined about 2-4 hours. its not hard at all,you should buy a cylimer manual.i hope this is some use for you, good luck!!   4. yeah it will eat the foam away , i use some simple green or any degreaser i wouldnt use dish soap
  5. just take the heads off and power wash the shit out. it will be fine. the lest time consuming way to do it.
  6. hey there ::my bro has a freshly rebuilt motor top to bottom and all gaskaets and seals,pistons rings bearings new cool head .this what we checked so far- compreson, leaks, spark, fuel, floats, jets to make sure no shit got in there. but it runs fine if you pop start it and when its warm you can kick it over to start it up, but when its cooled down your fucked back to pushing. :shoothead:

I guess the reed petal that broke off blew out the exhuast port, i did though split the case because i had an extra set of gaskets just lying around the house (lucky me i guess), and i didnt know if it was in there or not and i dont want that extra weight on my banshee to slow it down lol.....thax for the feed back p.s. if you anit mixing oil and gas im going to kick your ass!
  8. I BROKE ONE MY REED PEADLES OFF AND ITS NOW IN THE CASE OR IT MIGHT OF GOT PUSHED OUT OF THE EXHAUST. SHOULD I SPLIT THE CASE OR DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE FINE? I NEDD SOME FEED BACK PLEASE!! ..............NOTE IT IS A HOLE ETIRE PEADLE IS GONE..
