  20. Just as a note, threebond or yamabond will not stop a crank up. We did a little test one time with a junker motor and slathered the stuff all over...motor is still running to this day. Not saying it's the right thing to do but it's not a huge deal. And I wanna see a crank that is 3 TENTHS out HAHA
  21. Hate to say it, but that's what happens when you buy used stuff. Win some and lose some. I wouldn't be happy either. But why didn't you try to roll it over at his house? Seems like a very obvious thing to try especially if you went as far to do a leakdown test.
