  1. Hey guys! sorry I havent followed up with this. I posted the information on a lot of difference forums and forgot to set this one to notify me when people reply. Heres a link to our current flyer: http://www.ice.s3webcenter.com/WhiteLakeRacing-bowmans.pdf The race will be on White Lake in front of the White Lake Inn which is at the corner or Ormond Rd and Jackson Blvd in White Lake. Here is a link to mapquest for it: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formt...MI&zipcode= Registration starts at 8AM on Sunday (Feb. 4th) and the races will begin around 10AM. Since all of the AMA ice races have been canceled so far this year, this will be the season opening while the nationals run on the same weekend wisconnin. We should have a pretty good turnout due to this. We went out today and checked the ice conditions and we're sitting on around 8" right now. It is kind of soft, so we're hoping for some seriously cold weather for ideal race conditions. Give me a call if you have any questions, my name is Frank. 248-863-7584. Hope to see you out there!
  2. We had 2" on white lake for that short week long freeze. We just need around 3 weeks of below freezing temps and it'll be hard as a rock.
  3. Oh man, so many mods.. I pushing about 75% more HP this year. Should be take to take stock or (very) mildly modded banshee's now
  4. You need the proper combination of cams, carb, exhaust, and intake to get the full use out of those big bore kits. My KFX has a 434 (athena) kit, stage 2 cams, high comp piston (14.25:1), FCR40 carb, K&N Filter, and HMF Carbon exhaust. I have no problems keeping up with a buddies shee thats bored .40 over... Of course he'll kill me on top end, but who beats their quad off the rev-limiter constantly? Probably have a little over $1000 into the motor, pushes around 45hp at a local dyno shop.
  5. Ya dude, we met last year on the ice. HA. I was riding the green KFX, and my buddy on the yellow LTZ. My name is Frank.
  6. Uhh.. You mean an LTR450? or an LTZ400? They didnt make either of these in 02. A stock LTZ is no match for a shee, or any of the current 450's. The LTR450 is will give a YFZ a good run, but the YFZ will probably still beat it.. depends on the rider.
  7. I live over in Highland. We'll be out on White Lake this year riding every weekend we have safe ice and no other races. Don't forget to checkout the post I made in the Events section, we're holding s sanctioned race out there this year, should be a blast! Other than that, I ride up in st helen area sometimes, or at a few of my buddies house with private land.
  8. We're in the process of setting up this race, we have the ball moving forward and are just finalizing some of the paperwork. It will be sanctioned by the AMA and we will be paying District 14 points for all of you series riders. The races will be on a 1/4 mile oval track. We will have both rubber and studded classes for all levels of riders. We welcome motorcycles, sidecars, and quads. We will be following all AMA/D14 rules for this event, so visit the District 14 Website for rules/regulations. The tenative date for this event is Sunday, February 4th. This is the same weekend as the National's in Wisconnsin. We are expecting somewhere around 150 racers and MANY spectators. It's going to be a great event. There will be HOT food vendors and possibly even live music. More information will be provided as it comes in. Please followup here with any questions/comments, or you can send me a PM. Hope to see a lot of you there! I would also like to mention that we will be having a 0-110cc pitbike class added to the event. This will be exhibition only, 4 strokes only. All AMA/D14 rules apply. Open age and modifications. If it goes over well we may add it as an official class for 2008!
  9. No problem, let me know how that motor works out for you.
  10. Replied to PM's.
  11. I'm in Highland, MI (Not Highland Park), just west of pontiac. And I would definately be open to selling the entire bike. It is mostly in pieces, I have everything but the exhaust. I'll shoot you a PM with the details. Thanks

I have a set of stockers off an 89. Make an offer!
  15. I'm parting out an 91 banshee, Its mostly stock, motor is bored .40 over. The motor seized up on me a few weeks back so its all getting parted out. I havent torn into the motor to find out what seized up yet. But if there is any interest in the motor, I will do so. I have 2 frames for this, an old j-arm style frame, and the newer a-arm style frame. I do not have a title for either of these, but I will provide a notorized bill of sale to whoever buys them. Pictures on request. I prefer money order's for everything. Let me know what you need, and how much you want to offer for it. No reasonble offers turned down! Any questions, please feel free to shoot me a PM, or give me a call. Thanks! Frank 248-863-7584 EDIT: The title says its an 89, but It is actually a 91.
