I am looking to do a bore (a must) and mild port but I have no idea on pricing and any places I can ship to do it cheap. Anyone got any good references and price range. Again, I apprecieate the help

HOW BIG IS TO BIG OF A BORE. I ride alot of trails and it tends to get a little hot? I just don't want to go big and free it due to heat

ive taken about 20 pics of the cylinder and none turn out right.....any reccomendations where to take it to see if it is any good, should I just go back to yamaha?

I finally pulled my engine apart to see why I have no compression on the left side and it is because my piston broke. It dug out the jugg pretty good and the head is toast...but I am not sure if I can fix the jug. Is it sleeved because I can't really tell. It is not pitted that bad but it but it got it pretty good on the port and I am not sure if a bore job can fix it. What is the easiest way to fix this...do I buy a new jug and leave it stock and put new pistons in, do I try to get it resleved and if I do will I have to bore it to get bot jugs to match, if I buy a used jug will I need to bore them both to get them even. I am lost and screwed. Someone please help

I am a noob, and I just blew the motor so it is time for a rebuild. I am looking to do a very mild port and Weisco Piston kit...but what would work best. I am trying to save some cash also so what is the difference between a cool head and the Trinity head? Thanks, sorry if this is a dumb question

2005 SE Banshee, Pro flow, K&N, FMF Pipes and boost bottle. I lost almost all compression on the left side....so we know that means it is time for a tear down... From there I want to know your imput for mods. Since I have it apart what are the cheapest mods for the most power. I plan on changing the head and domes while that is off, adding new reeds...but what else. What all do I need to add with a port job. Also, this is my first break down of the motor...what all gaskets will I have to replace...thanks for the help guys!

Reeds are good and the compression is way down compared to the right side.....where do I start, anyone have any suggestions

I tripple checked the plugs and wires, I am almost 100% sure its not that, I also put the choke tube on when I switched carbs. I will check my reeds when I go out but could it be something worse...could I have wasted the piston already. I am running the normal mods with 280 mains and plugs have always looked good....I appreciate the help though.

2005 Shee, normal mods of Pro Flow with K&N, FMFs, the normal stuff. I was riding and all of sudden I didn't have any power bottom end, it was fine at high RMPS but it didn't want to idle either. I felt the exhaust and my left side is running air out just as cool as outside temp, when I reved it up it got a little warmer but has 1/4 of the pressure as the right side. I switched everything I could to try to find the problem, I swithced plugs, wires, I even had an extra carb I switched on it and still does the exact same thing on the exact same side. I checked and there is no leaks, I can't hear a difference, I am lost......what could it be? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any mods that come with adding 60 more compression? Just 17 domes and I should be ok?

I am looking at getting cool head for my 05 LE. I have pro flow with K&N, FMF pipes and boost. Do I need any other mods or just throw them on. Do I have to mod anything or what exactly do I have to do. Thanks for the help

Alright, the run down. 05 LE, FMF Pipes and boost bottle, K&N Air filter with pro flo and rejetted to 190 and thats about it for power gain. I have been told cold head and crank and timming but I am clueless and how to do it. It seems every time I try to do something I forget to tighten something back down and spend hours figuring out what I did wrong. Is there anywhere I can take my shee to get some performance work done. I have some V-Force reeds on the way but where and what do I do next. I am in central Ohio and if anyone has any ideas it would be great. Thanks!

Alright guys, just got the word I am going to Iraq in August and wont be back for a year. I have a 2005 LE that I baught new almost exactly 1 year ago that I do not want to let sit for that long. Minor mods, Pro Flow with K&N, FMF Pipes, FMF Boost Bottle, DG Front bumper and nerfs. I honestly would say it easily has less than 50 hours, maybe even less than 25. Never rolled or flipped, just the normal wear on the sides from where my boots rub. I am in Ohio just outside of Columbus. Pay off is 5500 but I just want to get out of it what I can. Let me know if interested.

Do you have to pay your state tax if you buy a quad new from out of state. I got a 05 Banshee last year I baught new from out of state, had it shipped here, and I am going to get it titled. Am I going to have to pay Ohio tax? Thanks guys.
