I have alot of low hour, very very nice Banshee parts. The parts are great or better than great from a 2000. Off the top of my head I have - Frame, cases, Dominator +2 axle, all 4 hubs, tank radiator, left a arms both, sweet throttle and cable with TORS, pegs, shift, kick, radiator, clutch cover, stator cover, Nice blue plastics, grab bar, stock bars, tranny gears, swinger, dogbone, airbox, proflow with K+N, flywheel, sprocket and brake hub, swing bolt, tie rod, coil, 2 intakes 1 reed, clutch and parking brake, motor mounts, kicker gears. I could use some of the following parts. Parts are for an 85 200X and a couple of 250SX's so keep that in mind. I can pay cash also for the following. All I really need now or would pay for is the following 3 things... 1 - A pair of aluminum 400EX rear rims 10" diameter and 9" wide. 2 - A set of rear aluminum rims and tires 20" diameter for Honda pattern 110 - not cheap tires!! Must be nice rims and 80% tread and good tires - no tubes, no sidewall problems and at least 4ply or greater like an XCR etc. - I like stock ATC250R gold rims and tires, would take a set of 3. 3 - A 85 200X toolbox and a nice 200X swingarm bolt and adjusters. These things I could use and will trade Banshee parts for the following. A 250R or 200X front rim and tire - Stock gold 85/86 R tire is nice, couls use hub setup too. A 85 200X and a 86 350X carburetor - no broken air screw etc, must be repairable and complete. Front Master cylinder from a clean newer Banshee, mine was broke. A 250SX rear differential. A 350X dual headlight. A 85 200X front caliper, rebuildable. A 85 thru 87 250SX tailight assembley. A 86/87 250SX swingarm for fabricating purposes.

The deal is that I don't want to mislead anyone who is interested in the head. I have kids who PM me and want the head just because they think "faster" but I don't want to damage their engine just so I can profit from a sale. Thats why I was looking for more information. Maybe some of you should respect that. The rest of you, thanks for the help. Try telling a 14yo kid to do a squish test.... Some of you said .070 - .075 and another .020 - .030 - thats a big difference so I wanted ANOTHER OPINION FROM OTHER MEMBERS. Let me be a bit more specific about some things. Is a shaved head a benefit to a stock motor? And thats merely because it boosts compression? Is a shaved head supposed to work along with some other type of crank or engine mod? What PSIG requires race fuel? I'm assuming the "squish band" is the tight tolerance on the outer surface of the head which is closest to the piston head... If it does hit, wouldn't relieving the squish band pretty much get you back where you started in terms of compression and be a waste of $$

Yep thats me.... I will not sell this head if it will hurt someones stock motor. Please, if everyone could elaborate it would help. If he ran another head gasket he would probably be right back to stock so thats a waste of $$ I assume....

So, I'm selling this head I have thats shaved .060. Obviously it boosts compression but how much? And can someone run this head on super unleaded with T5's, jetted and K+N?? What else happens with this mod and what else needs to be done for it to work right? Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
