500 shipped...must sell to buy new shocks for my bike....

Also have a set of works duel rated shocks with rezzies for sale. Might be willing to trade both sets for a set that will fit my shee. thanks guys throw out some offers Josh

Up for sale is a set of works pro series piggy back shocks with tripple rated springs. They are set up for MX style racing and a rider 170-190 lbs. The only reason I am selling them is they do not fit my bike. I bought them a few months ago while in Iraq and whne i got home this week found out they do not fit. They are 16 3/4" long from eye to eye. Will work with the yfz 450 a arm conversion or I have been told fireball racing +2 a arms (might want to look into that before purchase). Shocks should also fit 450's, and honda 400ex with +2 a arms. These shocks are in great shape, no leaks or loose bushings. I bought them a few months ago off of an HQ member who ran them very little and went a different direction with his build. New over $900 bucks. Looking for $550 shipped.

Well there is no way these shocks are going to fit. They are 16 3/4in long from eye to eye. IDK what they fIT I guess I will have to try to contact the guy I got them off of and see what he has to say. Again I was told that they were set up for a banshee with +2 a amrs 175lb rider and mx style racing. Hope I can get this worked out!!

Hey guys. Well i just got home from a year long deployment in Iraq. I bought a bunch of new parts while I was gone including a set of Worcks pro series front shocks off a guy on HQ. I went to put the shocks on and they are about 3 inches too long. Is it ok to compress the shocks that much to make them fit? They are going on +2 a-arms. I was told they were already set up for them so im not sure why im having such a hard time getting them on. If they guy I bought them from could chime in and let me know how he had them fit that would be awsome. I deleated all the PM's and no longer know his name. also if some one could give me a measurement on shocks for +2 arm that would be great Thanks alot any help would be great Josh

ya with 18"tires im unsure whear to start. Im sure that some one on hear has an MX banshee. Would like some more input before i go and buy a few sprockets. Thanks again Josh

Well I set up my banshee for track/ trail. I will just be out racing for fun and will mainly be on the trails. I have just about everything done except the proper gearing. Right now i have a 14T up front and a 38T in the rear. I run 20''tires in the front and 18''in the rear. With a -2''roundhouse swing arm. Any help you guys can throw my way would be great. Josh
-
Well the 14/38 gearing was recomended to me a while back. I tried it out and seemd alright I have 20" tires up and 18" in the rear. Other recomendations would be great. The single carb will have to stay put for now. the wife will have my ass if another box shows up to the door step lol. When I have it ported this winter I will probably try to swap it out for a good set of 28's. Thanks for all the info
-
Thanks for the info. I do have a new tusk clutch kit with HD springs. that will be going in at the same time. This winter thinking about some porting and possibly a 4 mil have to see how the cash flow is! thanks again

Well im setting my banshee up for MX and trail riding. I just got in the mail my pro circut pipes, stock ported reed cage with boysen stage 2 reeds, I also have a trinity 2 into 1 carb with a 35mm PKW. My shee has a adjustable Dynatec ignition on it. Using this Ignition system can i still advance the timing? Im getting excited to come home ( from Iraq) and bolt all this stuff on. Cant wait to see how well she goes now. Next I will be calling Kevin for some porting. Any help with this would be great. Josh
