ya man he still has the tecate 4. i doubt he will ever get rid of it. and if he does you will see it parked right next to my banshee. did alot of work to it and it runs like a champ. starts 2nd kick every time. all he needs to do it take the 40mm carb off and trade it for a 35mm. that 40 is way to big for that 250cc engine. but he had it all ported and head milled. weisco piston boysen reeds. fox front shocks on it. its a nice ride just needs a tune thats all.

i had a 660 raptor and loved it. lots of power and torque and verry comfortable. but when a guy offered mt a 404banshee i couldnt pass it up hahaha. i guess it all depends on what ya like. clean fun bike hear guys. if anyone local wants to take it for a ride let me know. i can set that up as well josh

I hvae ridden snowmobiles in the tug hill region before and the trails are great. as long as you go durring the week. most of the time on the weekend its so packed youcant get arround a corner without someone running you off the trails. As for quads i have never ridden up their. I do know that alot of the sled trails that are open in NY state are closed in the summer time to Quads. Iused to be able to ride all over the place and cops wouldnt even look at you. Now within 10 min of riding one is chasing you. We will hvae to look and see what we have available to us and set up a good ride this summer josh

your right i could just order the $20 plate. but i decided to just wait and go with the tusks with the heavy duty springs and a cometic gasket. $60 you cant go wrong. next time ill have the whole hinson basket plate and some fast clutches. thanks again guys for all the help josh

sounds liike we have quite a few from NY. we definatly have to set up some kind of ride. in my group i ride with we have me and my banshee, buddy with a kawasaki tecate 4, buddy with an 05 raptor (trying to sell), and my other buddy has an 08 honda 450r. we all need to get together somtine in august or september and hit the track trails or somthing.

hey guys thanks for all the input. im not sure how my presure plate looks. havent torn it apart it yet and wont until i get home. so im probably going to go with the tusks for now because of thr price and then switch to some fasts when i upgrade to a hinson basket and presure plate. again thanks for the input josh

hey man i would take the rear axel berring carrier plate for the rear break, and the billett sprocket hub. might even take the frton shocks off your hands as well . and i know my buddy would take the risers. just letting ya know josh

my buddy has a 2005 660 raptor. white and red. he looking to trade for a honda 250r or a honda foreman. bike is clean i dont think he has rode it in 2 years. goes out and starts it once and a while to charge the battery charged up and thats it. has a gyrt full exhaust, armidilo bumper, douglas rear rims with new tires. knn filter with the billet box clamp. and a few other things. probably wont find a cleaner raptor out their. He is located in upstate NY. I might even be able to get him to trade for the right banshee. Hes stuborn but i will try. Im going to try to get some pics posted. josh

i have a set of dynoport pipes. in good shape. i had the silincers welded to the mid pipe. if interested let me know i will post up some pics. no rust on them good shape. might help if you posted up some pics as well josh

well its time to throw a new set of clutchede in my shee. I was wondering what you guys like to use. IM mainly into MX and trail riding. So im going ot need somthing that will hold up at the track. I have used dirt diggers set up before and like it. Just though before i spend the cash I would see what you Guys are running. thanks alot josh

definatly wont be selling land. im not exactly sure what i will be doing whe it comes time to build. my grandfather is the one who owns the land. he will be giving me arround 25acers (hopefully) or i can buy the 6bedroom farm house off him. not sure what im going to do yet. alot depends on the wifey and what she wants to do. so whear do you guys all ride. any of you go to the newton falls pits?

well i live on alitttle over 300 acers. when i get home i will be building a house as well. i am looking into the log cabins too. they are crazy expensive tho. looking at well over $250k to build a decent size one. so i dont know if i will go that route. i live in Potsdam NY not alot of places to ride. cops chase up out of them all. IDK why the try to catch us. we never stop lol. b ut the places we can ride are fun lots of sand pits well man let me know whear you are at mabye we can set up a trip. i plan on building a track when i get home as well. have a 25HP Kubota tractor :biggrin: cant wait

From upstate Ny hear. Right before i left on this deployment my buddy and i went to Motomasters in mexico NY on a wednsday for practice. That track is amazing. the guy was great and because of us going to iraq (and being a close family friend of my buddy) he opened it about 2 hours early for us and we rode the track just the two of us. haha like most people that hut a track now im hooked. cant wait to get home i want to set up some rides for the banshee guys hear. sick of seeing all the 450s out their, lets get the banshees out on the track. so whear are you guys from and what track do you guys ride on. josh
